This is the second time that I have stayed at this property. The first was 10 years ago under previous management. The property is in excellent condition as it was the first time I went there. The new owners are very nice people unfriendly and served a very good breakfast. I particularly like the spot because there’s a beautiful little church up on a mountain behind the accommodations that you can walk to and it is very peaceful up there and there are some hiking options as well. We stopped here for two nights during a two month tour of France in Spain and we loved this place. It’s comfortable quiet and a little slice of old Spain

Remote bliss in the middle of nowhere
MFN (Middle of no where ;-) )...
Very friendly staff and helpful to the core.
Rey remote, nothing but a church in the hill and some run down buildings but this hotel is exceptional with many bags of character.

Wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle
What a lovely escape from the hustle and bustle of all the cities we had visited. Quiet little town. Hotel was lovely. The most comfiest of beds, and it was great to finally get a proper double bed and not two singles pushed together. Breakfast was lovely...and the honey was amazing. Our host was one of the most hospitable people and was so accommodating to our needs. Was a great base to go wine tasting for the day. Be sure to buy any supplies you may need as there are no shops near by.
