This hotel is very basic, but extremely clean and tidy for a great stop over. The front desk attendant was very friendly. Parking was right by the door. The hotel is close to many shops. Nothing fancy, but a great place just to sleep and shower and get ready for another day out.

The golden eagle is a very old, very, very basic motel style accommodation. Giving it two stars is generous. Though the room was clean and spacious, it was very utilitarian. The air conditioner was a window unit, in a separate room, which was odd. Though I will say it kept the room cool enough. The exterior of the hotel and stairs were definitely dated and could use some work. There is no staff on site after 10 PM and until sometime the following morning. I was up early so I’m not exactly sure. Parking was free and right outside the room, and the motel was within walking distance of the downtown area. The towels were scratchy and barely large enough to fit around my small frame. If you are purely looking for a clean place sleep and not much else, this might work for you. It’s just not my vibe.
