Love the property and its history. Breakfast was great. We had no hot water in our room, very sad.

Great breakfast, amazing property, comfortable beds! Water in shower wasn’t hot, had to take a “warm-cold” fast shower but it didn’t matter. The view, the quiet, nature and siting areas made the stay perfect. Will come again!!

We had a wonderful stay, it was just as we expected, A touch of old New England. Breakfast was Excellent. The one lady who greeted us and checked us in was super nice and upbeat. We walked the grounds and enjoyed this very much. Thanks for the experience.

This is a very good place with great proximity to Tanglewood. My room was super clean. The grounds are beautiful and there are hammocks, which I love. Terrace house is very motel like but comfortable bedding and clean.

The Seven Hills Inn and the Mount are of the same era and are within walking distance. One of them has been converted into a B&B with very affordable room rates when booking in the Terrace House. In the shoulder season, we paid merely $150 on Expedia. Best of all you get to enjoy the garden terrace for breakfast and the lobby at the former mansion.

Very nice property. Room clean with big bathroom. Only lack microwave and would be nice to have a chair. Breakfast regular offerings. Front desk staff friendly. Good value.

The property was beautiful old world. However, the bathroom was a bit uncomfortable and needed to be updated in the main house guest room. We did like the close proximity to Tanglewood.

Adequate

Beautiful location. Our room in the annex had some shower mildew. Other than that, everything was perfectly adequate.

It was a beautiful 1911 former home. Beautiful inside and out. The grounds were well kept a vast. Looks like a great place for families to play together outside. Breakfast was included and served by Gracie, fresh fruit and breads and muffins. So good! Would recommend this Inn to everyone.

Could use some updates and the front desk attendant was less than attentive. But the grounds are beautiful, the room was clean, and the inn is in a great area in the Berkshires.

Beautiful proprrty...nice size, clean room. The breakfast was ok, but bagels still seemed frozen and fruit was not fresh. Otherwise, lovely facility.

The best part was the staff -especially the concierge She was a wealth of knowledge in helping to plan our stay. Can not thank her enought . Also I must mention Gracy who was responsible for the breakfast. She knew so much history of the hotel. She was a friendly staff that treated us warmly.

good for the price

the room was fine for the price. niceand quiet. just a few issues: it smelled a little like mildew, the shower was strong but only horizontal, no blackout curtains and so there was a lot light flooding into the room, too hot and no temperature control, I just opened the window.

Nice breakfast served on the front porch [or inside]. Room was quiet, good size, and attractive. Could have had more "charging assistant" devices [previous lodging had bed-side clock that you could plug in three electronic devices]. Parking was cramped, but they reimburse if you find you must park on metered parking nearby.

We arrived after dark and the entrance to office to get key was unlit. Our room was very clean with modern fixtures. The bed was comfortable and the bedding linens very comfortable. The heat would not come on, so it was a bit chilly in the morning(60 ish) and the water was warm but not hot enough for a shower. Continental breakfast was good. I would give this property another chance but only average this stay.

Seeped in History! ❤️

We love staying at places with a past, a story, not just a generic hotel you could find at any intersection in America. This place was such a find. Yes, it probably has seen better days... there are pot holes in the driveway, the grounds could use a little sprucing up, but I feel the owners really are putting effort into making this work. The room was clean, the bathroom upgraded, and we slept well in spite of the mattresses being a little squeaky. We especially loved the breakfast in the morning and the great conversation we had with the other guests. And just being in the Berkshires, literally next door to Edith Wharton's The Mount, and tons of other amazing places to explore, you can't beat this inn.

Absolute beautiful inn, but I’m staying at the Annex and the rooms are a little bit dated. Missing a few finishing touches like no Kleenex in the bathroom, no bath towel for the floor, the closet is not conducive to hanging a dress. Little things like that. But the staff was absolutely wonderful and the bed is comfortable. My only complaint is the air conditioner filter could be cleaned a bit. But the main building is absolutely magnificent as are the grounds. And it’s very conveniently located! So basically, I am pleased.

Apparently there's no crime in Lenox, because there was no obvious security. No staff on site after about 7p.m., though a phone # was provided if something was needed. Our room in Terrace House was pretty cramped, especially the bathroom. The complimentary breakfast provided more variety than what the front desk led us to believe. The beauty of the grounds is the high point of this property. It seems to attract those of us over 65, which was fine for us. Some younger travelers may be put off by that.

I stayed for one evening and chose this property for its near proximity to Tanglewood and Shakespeare and Company. The grounds and the history of the property also attracted me. The continental breakfast did not disappoint either. My room was on the 2nd floor of the Terrace House, which is actually like a motel like unit. I did not expect this. I was hoping to be in the Main Inn. My room was clean, but very small and a bit overcrowded with two queen sized beds. The mattress on my bed was hard and not very comfortable. The window A/C unit was old and did not work properly. The windows had Venetian blinds, but no curtains to block out the porch lighting at night. The pool on the property was closed for the season, which I found disappointing !
