One of the best hotels we have stayed in. The boutique nature of this hotel set it apart from everything around it. The business of the streets around were forgotten and the hotel was a tranquil retreat. Direct access to the beach is a gem. Do note, the sunloungers outside the hotel on the beach are not part of the hotel but they're very cheap and if you can't get a space by the pool (which was never actually a problem, even in the middle of January) you can pay to be there. Breakfast was sublime, dinner was sublime and the cooking class is a must!

Das Hotel ist grundsätzlich sehr nett gemacht, Personal sehr freundlich und bemüht. Essen wirklich sehr gut. Es gibt ein ala Card Frühstück, sehr lecker, tolle Auswahl und man kann sie viel bestellen wie man möchte. Mittag und Abendessen auch sehr gut, aber natürlich Preise eher gehoben. Lage ist auch gut, toller Blick über den Strand. Jedoch sehr viele Surfer. Am Pool waren immer Liegen frei und das Personal sehr aufmerksam. Wir waren 3 Tage in der Vorsession. 99% der Urlauber in Phuket sind aus Russland, demnach ist auch alles auf sie ausgelegt.

The Best Service, Treated Like Royalty

Outstanding stay. Great hotel in a fantastic location on the beach front. The staff, all of them, were anazing. Never been treated so well. Breakfast was a la carte but you could order what you liked and as much as you like. We had an evening meal there too was superb and setting was romantic by night. Rooms were lovely and had all you needed included toiletries, iron and ironing board, fridge and 4 bottles of water daily. Water machines are available in the hotel too. No hesitation in recommending this hotel for a stay.

Amazing boutique resort

As we prepare to check out, we feel it’s only right to share our thoughts on this wonderful resort. We booked two beach suites for 11 days and, before making our decision, conducted extensive research on over 20 different resorts across Phuket. Our needs were simple: a beachfront resort with direct beach access, located in an area where we could walk around and explore. The Boathouse ticked all the boxes, and we are extremely pleased with our choice. What truly sets this resort apart is the exceptional service. Every single member of the staff goes above and beyond to ensure guests are comfortable and well looked after. While we’re tempted to name specific individuals, we’re equally afraid of leaving someone out — so we’ll simply say: thank you to the entire team and management. You all deserve praise for creating such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Kata Beach, where the resort is located, is perfect for those seeking a quieter, more relaxed environment. It’s not a party scene, but it offers plenty of restaurants, shops, and charming spots to wander around. Since we stayed in April, the heat was quite intense most of the time — but with the beach just steps away and the pool within reach, a refreshing dip was always available. A few things to note: the beach is public, but sunbeds can be rented. There are also three restaurants right on the beach just outside the hotel, as well as a great beachfront bar/restaurant that stays open late.
