The hotel is managed by a very friendly family. The service was simply excellent. The view from our room was nothing less than amazing, but you need to take into account that having a vehicle is a must for whoever stays at the hotel because it is located on a cliff overlooking the sea, and to get anywhere you either have to climb up or go down the town's main road.
As soon as we arrived at the hotel (with the help of the hotel staff, after we contacted them by email to arrange a pickup from the ferry for €5 per person), Margarita in the reception immediately called a scooter rental company at our request, and they came right away to pick us up so we could rent a scooter for the duration of our stay. George (the owner and Margarita's cousin) also helped us with internet connection issues in our room and brought us a device for free wifi in the room, all with a smile and a willingness to help.
The main downside of the hotel is the room maintenance. There were quite a few issues (a closet door falling apart, a room door that doesn’t shut properly unless locked, a window blind that won't go up or down), and the room as a whole is very basic and quite dated. It wasn't anything unbearable, and it was reasonable considering the price we paid, but the stay could have been greatly improved with tighter supervision over room repairs. Other than that, we definitely recommend the hotel.
