The bar could be open earlier as restaurant didn't have availability so no other options to eat but room service but would be nice to have a drink and food at bar. Mattresses were a little bumpy but otherwise the rooms are well maintained.

Everything was great. Staff were helpful and enthusiastic to engage with my husband who was a former pupil at the school. Cooked breakfast was top notch. My request for room overlooking the big tree was also met! Excellent all round. Just wish I'd noticed the Sunday night deal before booking a Saturday night (his birthday was the Sunday) as we'd liked to have eaten in the restaurant but it would've added too much to our room fees!
