Convenient stopover on the way from Eastern France to Calais, close to the motorway in a quiet location with plenty of on-site parking, friendly and helpful staff, very good evening meal and breakfast. Room was clean and comfortable but had an unpleasant background odour like boiled cabbage (drains?) and the shower kept dripping at random intervals during the night, loud enough to wake us up (solved by putting a towel under it). Not an issue for a one night stopover but would have been better without it.

Remote from immediate sites...but close to many..

This is a wonderful place to stay...excellent food and welcoming staff...the immediate town is not of intetest...however it is very well situated to tour the area including ... Vimy Arras and Lille...easy connections to routes in all directions. Bed comfortable and generally very pleasant stay...Parking free...breakfast 12 euro...dinner menus* 24 and *29 euros...worth every centime!

Fair sized rooms with good showers etc en suite. On the ground floor, many rooms face the car park and occupants can easily be seen unless the curtains are fully drawn. There is no air conditioning which made sleeping difficult with night temperatures in the high 20Cs and day temperatures nudging 40C. Good continental buffet breakfasts can be eaten out side on the terrace while the wild rabbits in the garden are having theirs. The staff were friendly but occasionally seemed slightly stressed, not surprising given the temperatures they had to work in. The hotel provides a reasonably varied dinner menu.

What a fantastic place to stay. Clean and comfortable room, pillows like clouds and a good nights sleep. Towels a good size. Restaurant with comfortable seats. Great decor. We ate in the evening and the best steaks we had had in a long time! Our dog was given a bowl of water. The grounds are perfect for dog walking. Grass and shingle. (Beware of the rabbit/badger holes if going out at night) We didn’t eat breakfast as we’re in a hurry but it looked like a fab selection. A great location en-route through France from/to the Eurotunnel.

The Hotel did not accept that I had paid Expedia immediately when I booked it a month ago. It took over an Hour to resolve this problem. The food in the Restaurant for the evening meal was very poor. The beef was very tough and the Dauphinoise potatoes looked as they had been reheated many times!

A stop over for us on route from UK to Switzerland. Room was clean and nice. Car parked just outside room in a courtyard. Very pleasantly surprised by the restaurant. Excellent food and wine. Good value too.

Nice hotel, good reception, but room and bathroom were a bit poky - could have done with refurbishment. Great parking. Dinner was wonderful. Breakfast was good. Very Covid conscious in the hotel - gave a sense of security.

Séjour agréable dans cet hôtel. Literie confortable, beau jardin, cadre agréable, petit déjeuner copieux et varié. Seul bémol : l'acoustique n'est pas des meilleures ; le couloir est très sonore (porte d'accès au couloir qui grince, portes des chambres qui claquent...).

Great find and wonderful food

Such a cute hotel just over an hour from Calais, so perfect for staying there before heading for the ferry home. The staff were so friendly and looked after us very well. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was very spacious. Easy to park outside and the biggest bonus was the fantastic restaurant. The chef cooked me some chicken which wasn't on the menu (but I did ask a day or so before if it was possible). Everyone else enjoyed their food too and we just weren't expecting such a superb meal in such a little village. We will be back as we travel this way each year

Worst hotel of our six week holiday

They couldn’t find our reservation, then they couldn’t get the key to work for a few hours. The room was very old and worn. The sink was all cracked. The whole hotel was old and tired and in desperate need of paint and a good cleaning. The food in the restaurant was awful. The shuttle only goes to one terminal, and then you have to walk a mile to catch train to the other Terminal. If we had been told the shuttle only goes to terminal 2 we would have just taken an Uber, but because no one would speak English to us we didn’t know that the shuttle only went to terminal 2 and we almost missed our flight because of it.

Cadre global très agréable (bâtiments et parc paysager); Personnel attentif et professionnel; Mais les chambres typées "années 90" seraient à rénover, salle de bain refaite; Menus du restaurant trop basique et restreint, dommage !

Hotel agréable et bon accueil. Seul petit bémol : j'avais une chambre donnant sur le parking. Un petit voilage aux fenêtres aurait permis de garder les rideaux occultants ouverts et de ne pas se trouver dans la pénombre. Mais impossible d'avoir de l'intimité avec les rideaux ouverts.
