In the middle of the action
We stayed 2 nights in a 2 bedroom with 4 adults. The suites are in an AMAZING location for restaurants, bars, and shopping. They’re literally all right downstairs. Even better, we could not hear the noises of the street from our unit (which overlooked Kings St.). By the way, it offered amazing people watching at night when people were stumbling out of bars lol! The entrance, hallways, and until decor was very tasteful and definitely had a Charleston charm. The rooms are cooled and heated by individual units on the wall which I LOVED because I was able to keep our room nice and cold at night. Unfortunately, we visited right after the rioting/protesting so many of the beautiful stores and restaurants had windows broken and boarded up (shown in pictures). Otherwise, the view would have been very nice.
The few negatives - there is NO insulation in the building. I could hear our neighbors walking around in the unit next door, opening/closing doors, and talking. They weren’t being excessively loud - just normal volumes - but it was 3am when they got home both nights so it kept us up for a few hours. The space is very small, but it’s what I’d expect for a condo right on Kings so I wasn’t too disappointed.
Overall, the space is very clean, and I appreciated the attention to detail and the location. We would likely stay again.
