The hotel itself was quite dated, but the rooms were refurbished to a new condition & were very clean & spacious. Approximately a 10 minute walk into town where there are lots of shops & restaurants.

Was clean and the bed was comfortable, we were put in an annex, seperat from the main hotel and very noisy. Out look from window was a wall a bit depressing when you are there for 5 nights. The breakfasts were good and the staff pleasant. Overall the stay was acceptable but probably won't use again.

Friendly efficient staff, nice restaurant with a good breakfast. Handy for both the train and bus stations. My only problem was the room I was in, although it had almost all that I needed, was a bit small.

Easy to find, spacious car park. Room was huge with a fridge, kettle etc and a huge bathroom. Staff helpful, breakfast lovely. Good location for exploring highlands.

Every thing was tip top.. I had travelled on my motorbike and they allowed me to secure it around to back of the hotel out of sight.. all very helpful the room was to a high standard and very clean.

Rooms well presented and clean with a good amount of space, large shower and coffee amenities. The breakfast was convenient and the service was quick, although they had limited vegan option and no non-dairy milks available. The staff were all incredible lovely and very helpful. The location was right across the road from the train station and a supermarket, and only a 10 minute walk into the centre of town.

Bar and Restaurant next door as well as the hotel’s own restaurant. Room clean and well stocked with tea and coffee. Bathroom newly installed. Complementary toiletries. Will return again.

The annex is a bit dated and tired but over all the place is pretty decent. The main building is gorgeous and the food was excellent. Staff was very friendly and great to talk too. Would stay again no question.

We enjoyed our stay. The only real downside is the lack of elevator; walking up 2 flights of stairs will luggage is a bit of a slog.

This property is in need of significant maintenance. As we walked through the front entrance, we noticed that part of the roof above the entryway was missing, which made for a poor first impression. The front desk clerk was friendly and welcoming, and we appreciated the kindness shown during check-in. Unfortunately, the room itself was disappointing. It lacked basic amenities, and the balcony was unkempt. Even more frustrating, the balcony door/window was completely locked and could not be opened, so there was no way to get fresh air into the room. The one positive aspect of our stay was that both the room and the bathroom were clean, which is why I rated the stay as "okay" rather than lower. Overall, while the staff was courteous and the room was clean, the condition of the property and the lack of maintenance would prevent us from staying at this hotel again.
