8/10 Very good

Great bathroom new very clean. Though lots of noise coming from bar downstairs Free parking bonus
Stephen, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

The door between rooms and pub, which was meant to be keycard only, was broken. The bed had springs poking up. The bottom of the shower was flimsy. I ended up not staying here and just picked up my bags and left.

Apart from the price there was nothing to like about this property. On three of the six nights I booked there was extremely loud music playing until midnight making it impossible to sleep. carpets were grubby, and the atmosphere smoky due to the close proximity of the outdoor smoking area. Not recommended if you value a good night's sleep

great value for the room

Have to say, for a budget hotel / guest house, the welcome service by the staff was excellent, the room's decor was very surprising highly, yes they are doing more works at this location, expanding their offering. i will happily stay again

All of the people there are brilliant real characters! Good solid people that look after you! I would recommend Room 6! It’s lovely! Take your partner though 😉

6/10 Good

Rooms very well used shall we say Not the cleanest I’ve been in Pub was ok plenty of friendly locals and travellers But a bit of a take it as it is no frills bar Staff friendly
David, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

Tired and itchy.

Gutted to be honest. Stay here regularly for work reasons and never really had an issue until now. Stayed in the annex in room 17. Found the bed hadn’t been made properly and was dirty. There were used cups and a wine glass left over from the previous guest. The bathroom hadn’t been cleaned as hair in the sink. Looked like they had left fresh towels on the bed at least as folded up but suspect they were the previous guests as still a bit damp. Anyway it was late and the hotel was full so knew I couldn’t be moved and couldn’t go anywhere else. The next morning I got up and got dressed and my socks and trousers were covered in fleas so clearly an infestation in room 17. Put me off staying again, definitely not in the annex. I know it’s cheap but come on at least clean the rooms and put fresh bedding on when a guest leaves! Woke up to bottles being thrown in to the recycling bin outside my room at 7am. Spend more time cleaning please 🙏

Cheap and cheerful

Handy cheap and cheerful midlands stopover. Clean room with decent shower. Secure parking. Please note this is above a busy boozer so can hear the disco music below
Paul, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Ok for a cheap night if you need to stay over in Coleshill. Room was ok, bit grubby in areas but just due to age. Quick and easy check in, and managed to get a parking space.
Rachel, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Quick one night stay

Friendly staff, very clean and comfortable bed, some bathroom tiles were not stable, no soap in bathroom. Apart from that, this was a good stay. Pub itself, felt the drinks had a bit more water.

Love this place

Love this place. Been here few times, usually the honeymoon suite. Great sized bath me and the miss fit even with my fat backside. Yeah its noisy (its above a pub you moaners) beers good, log fire downstairs. The loud music drowns out the missus to be fair, when she gets going its like a wolf howling at a full moon. Recommended.
