The staff helped us get away to our organised tours early by packing breakfast boxes for us to collect before the restaurant opened - really helpful. Hotel is 12kms from the local town, so if you don't want a full restaurant evening meal (provided on-site or at the neighboring farm) then you have to drive that 12kms each time. As we sat in the local pizza place the screen roll on the monitors explained that Iceland is the most expensive country in the world to live in. Travelers need to be ready to deal with that at the hotel, as everywhere else.

I was great the only thing is I would have liked a refrigerator in the room because my wife’s medications needed to be cool. But the staff in the morning got us some ice. Very helpful. I would recommend this place to friends

Comfortable stay, good breakfast, easy parking, would have been a perfect spot to see northern light as it’s a little far away from the main road and town.

We received a message about how to check in without staff (especially if we were arriving later than 3). That made our schedule feel flexible. We were there during the midnight sun and their curtains gave us the sleep we needed unlike some other hotels we visited during our stay in Iceland. 10/10 would recommend for the quiet environment, great sleep, beautiful drive, and simple process of checking in and out.

Kleines aber feines Hotel mit verschiedenen Cottages. Diese sind praktisch eingerichtet. Sie sind sauber und gemütlich. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück ist Standard. Sehr familienfreundlich. Schön in der Natur gegelegen und von hier aus kann man auf schöne Wanderungen gehen.

Super easy check in. Ate at Hygge which was recommended by the hotel in an email and it was sooooo good! Beds were very comfortable. A little outdated in terms of room furniture, etc but it added to the charm. :)

Old, but quaint. Beautiful farm setting. Pretty far in the middle of nowhere. There is a small town nearby- Breakfast was wonderful!! Workers wonderful! Good location - midway.
