A total pit, avoid if at all possible
We stayed at this "motel" on a weekend anniversary trip because it was the only thing available (only booked a week before arrival). I wasn't expecting anything great, but I was at least expecting a clean, fully functional room.
This place is in my top-3 list of "worst hotel rooms I've ever stayed in". Where to begin?
The good: it's a place to stay that isn't sleeping in your car.
The bad: pretty much everything else. The bed was old and uncomfortable. The sheets were musty and threadbare. The walls were covered in, what I think was, mold, smoke and tar. The bathroom was disgusting, mildew and mold everywhere, a toilet that had a broken flapper and required constant "fixing", the vent cany was broken, only a half roll of toilet paper provided, the towels smelled and there was somebody else's hair all over them. Basically the room was in bed of a complete renovation and whoever "cleaned" it prior to our arrival should be fired.
