My wife and used Brunel Inn for a stop on when in Plymouth. The reservation was done trough Expedia and we paid £53 for a family room that allowed out two little dogs. The location is idea for plymouth and surrounding area exploration, the rooms are spacious and clean, staffvare friendly and helpful. When we stayed when the pub bar was closed so the venue was very quiet. Parking is available at the site but limited. For £53 per night in Plymouth your cant ask for anymore.

In pics the room was Fantastic with Large Double bed, Sofa, and Better room but when we reached there, no one was there, called many times then someone came to drop key. We checked room but it was smelly, Small, noisy, without Window, Small Box room. It was wrong choice to booked this hotel.

Don't go there
When we came to hotel, it's was closed. Nobady answered a phone. We had to found another place to stay.Don't go there!

I arrived at this hotel only to find it closed and deserted. I was informed by a helpful local resident that this establishment has been closed since March, so it begs the question as to how you are still taking bookings. My wife and i found it impossible to find alternative accommodation at such short notice, and we wonder why nobody had informed us of the situation. Can you please arrange for a refund? Your comments would be appreciated Regards. Doug Berry

Cheap is not always best
We knew it was cheap for 2 days stay but toilet seat moves when you sit bedroom floor wasn’t hoovered before we got there foot print on bed cover and matteress was very uncomfortable we went out came back cups wasn’t cleaned just left and didn’t refill ok coffees or milks so bought our own slats on bed missing or off on bed .

The staff were friendly my room was really lovely and spacious. The only thing i could fault on somethime was the wifi. I could get it to work. On my device. And the breakfast. Items had run out and there was no staff around to replace them. You had to wait around for someone to turn up. And the guinness was expensive

Town centre accomodation
Convenient for a very short stay. Staff extremely helpful and pleasant. Food good, large quantities, well presented and reasonably priced. Noisy with traffic up to about 11pm. Continental breakfast good choice of food.

Room good but no staff around at breakfast ( which was toast and cereal , tea coffee from hot water boiler ) bread etc left out to help yourselves .No one around to check out either so just left key on bar - this was at 9.30 and still no staff about .
