Seeing the beautiful pictures and the good reviews of the hotel, we were convinced to have a great experience here at Momentum. To be honest the resort looks more beautiful than the pictures so we were very happy about what we have been offered during check-in ( who was speaking perfect English ) we also enjoyed the spa and the same evening we had a nice dinner in the restaurant of the hotel. Then it all turned into a nightmare, because I had food poisoning from the restaurant. All night was horrible. The next morning we went to the reception to checkout, and I tried to explain that I had food poisoning from the restaurant, the receptionist didn’t understand what I said, because she spoke no English, and she didn’t call anyone else to help understand what we said. She just asked for the payment of the restaurant, and said “ thank you for your stay, bye” that’s it. I believe we are living in an era of value selling in hotel business, so the whole package is very important. The personal interaction and understanding is the most important part of a holistic stay experience. I also understand these kind of food poisoning can happen everywhere. If the receptionist would try to understand what I said, and try to comfort me by saying something, my whole experience from Momentum would be totally different.
