The property has a very beautiful lobby, but it was hard to locate there was no signage visible from the street and no numbers on the building. The check-in was good, the front desk employees were professional and attentive to our needs. The room was cleaned, but we had several issues with room telephone was not functioning, so they had to change the phones, and the stove top was not functioning properly. They did send someone; to assist but they were not the maintenance employee, advise they would not be on property until tomorrow, but no maintenance employee came the next day or any day doing our stay. The other issue, the quilt/linen that was change the 2nd day was dirty and had stains on them, we reported to the front desk. They sent housekeeping to immediately change out the linen. The overall stay at The Skye Suites was fair, do to those three issues. The last issue it appears that the front desk communication between employees is not occurring. We inquired on Feb 8, to the Front Desk about Car Services to the Sydney Airport for Feb. 9, the Front Desk employee I spoke with, advised they would contact us with the name and cost, but we never received a follow-up call from the Front Desk. so, we order an Uber for the morning, it appeared they had ordered the car service but did not advise us. So, we were getting ready to go to Airport, we receive a call from Car service that morning and Uber service, so we had an issue with the transport, due Desk not contacting us.
