Three of us had an amazing time in the 2 bedroom villa! Kitchen was often and while there was no staff on site we did meet a few that were extremely helpful. We’ll be back for sure

The stay started out great with a dip in the pool and hottub, then smores around the campfire. Beautiful property and well manicured lawn. However the bed above us (we were in suite 1) is in serious need of replacing. It was very squeaky and woke us up during the night during the other couple's activities. Also the folks in suite 6 played loud music all night and were loud. The room was clean and we had everything we need but unfortunately we could not sleep very good and woke up exhausted. The walls need some sound proofing or something.

The property is a beautiful old home from 1800's. The grounds are well kept and the bathrooms are upgraded beautifully. There are fire pits for cooler weather. It was off season so the pool and hot tubs were not available. The game room is very fun and the parlor had some snacks and drinks.

Stayed here when they first opened a couple years ago. Definitely is starting to show some wear. The pool is definitely not half as inviting as it once was… in need of a new liner and the lounge chairs have no cushions anymore so they are definitely not half as comfortable as they used to be. The fire pits have no kindling or fire starter and with no staff on site you need to figure that out on your own. The rooms are very clean, mattress is very comfy and bathroom was beautifully updated. Just need someone to do some outdoor updating and maintenance for sure!

The property was beautiful and it literally had everything we needed and more! They even had a firstaid kit which was useful after finding some ticks from our Shenandoah hike. Loved the pla e and will definately be back!

An elegant old house tastefully redeveloped, with large, comfortable and stylish rooms. Great location close to breweries, wineries and hiking and not far from Charlottesville. So, mostly good but the administrative and customer-service side could be better. We weren't sent the code for the front door and another couple we met weren't sent the code for their room. I received the checkout instructions after having already left the property.

We loved this property. It was just what we were looking for…. Charming, thoughtfully planned, well decorated with fun extras. The hot tub, nature trail, pool table and games added special touches that helped us relax and enjoy spending time together. We stayed in suite 2 which had everything we needed noises maker, coffee, chocolate. I felt welcomed and thought of. Would definitely come back.

Clean room and very nice amenities with multiple outside sitting areas. Traffic noise was excessive particularly in the front bedrooms. No staff on premises, but replies to questions were returned very quickly.

The room was clean, figured out how to use the tv, had a hard time getting some heat using the remote. The shower door didn't close completely which caused water to leak out onto the floor. The house itself was quite impressive.
