Ein sehr schönes Hotel, Preis/Leistung hervorragend. Freundlicher und kompetenter Service, sehr gutes Frühstück, wir hatten Wetterglück und konnten auf der Terasse frühstücken. Mit Blick auf den Mont Blanc - perfekt. Die Aussicht und das Panorama sind einfach super. Wir waren auch schon des öfteren in Chamonix, aber das war sehr viel günstiger, ruhig gelegen und eine hervorragende Küche. Da waren wir nicht zum letzten Mal.

Quaint cosy stay

Great hosts, small family run boutique hotel. The service is excellent. Bathrooms newly renovated and were fantastic! Loved the smaller more local feel to this little ski town, so cosy and quaint and especially great for kids and those new to skiing. Not many great restaurants in the area though so would advise making the drive to Sallanches.

Chalet avec beaucoup de charme, restaurant très bon, direction et personnel très à l’écoute, très propre. Super situation et vue sur la chaîne du Mont-Blanc, permet de découvrir d’autres stations à proximité. Nous y reviendrons 😜

I can’t recommend Le Chamois d’Or highly enough. From the moment I arrived until the day I checked out, every part of my stay exceeded my expectations. The warmth and genuine hospitality of the entire team made me feel welcome from the very beginning. Every member of staff was kind, attentive and sincerely invested in making sure I had a wonderful stay. The level of personal service is something you rarely experience anymore…it felt thoughtful, effortless, and completely genuine. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained, with charming Alpine character, comfortable rooms and breathtaking views of Mont Blanc that are simply unforgettable. Every detail has been carefully considered to create a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The food was exceptional. Each meal was beautifully prepared using fresh, high-quality ingredients and every breakfast and dinner was something to look forward to. The dining experience alone is worth the visit. What truly sets Le Chamois d’Or apart is the feeling it gives you. It’s not just a hotel…it’s a place where you feel genuinely cared for. The staff create an atmosphere that is warm, welcoming and personal, making it incredibly difficult to leave. Thank you to everyone at Le Chamois d’Or for such an unforgettable stay. I arrived as a guest and left feeling like part of the family. I will absolutely be back and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this wonderful hotel to anyone looking for an authentic, memorable experience in the French Alps.

Wonderful stay at Chamois D'or

This local friendly hotel was perfect for a long weekend ski getaway. Shuttle bus was 15mins to Dandry ski slopes and another 15mins drive to Combloux. Amazing bedroom view of mountains and Mont Blanc. Friendly staff, especially the main host, Caroline, who helped attend to every ask and was always working extra hard. Food in the restaurant was excellent and I don't want to know how much bread I ate on this trip, thanks for a great stay!

Peaceful, good food

Very worthwhile staying here - very quiet and peaceful - nice room - good views (even from the non Mont-Blanc rooms). Even better views from the dining room. Excellent food - both for dinner and breakfast. Helpful friendly staff A bit out of the way, but that is part of the quietness. Decent value for money, Would definitely stay here again

Weekend stay

This is 4 star hotel, which offers 5 star service. Caroline the landlady,and the rest of the team made me feel very welcome and made my stay well entruly memorable. Room was very clean and cosy with small balcony. Plenty things to do around. You can even hire a bicycle from the hotel for a day and just ride away and explore local area. Hotel Restaurant offers the best homemade food accompanied with great selection of wine. Absolutely love this place. Love the area. Love the views. Love the people. Can't wait to come back again
