Very nice, well-maintained hotel, ideally situated not far from MRT station with links to city/airport. Particularly enjoyed the extensive vegetarian menu.

It’s a very quirky hotel with all the old Indian army memorabilia and that makes it interesting but from a practical standpoint there are drawbacks - for example, the rooms are small and crowded with very little wardrobe space and drawers space which is not good for stays lasting more than a couple of days and certainly for more than two people. The rooms pictures are a bit misleading on the website. Make sure if you book a suite it really is the definition of a suite not a room divided by two chairs and a table! Also the Wifi throughout is terrible which for a business traveller is annoying. The lighting in the rooms is very low ( many lamps rather than good ceiling lighting ) and a bit complicated to turn on and off with many switches.

this is a colonial style hotel beautifully laid out ,some chairs are representative of ol British and Indian army uniforms ,intimate dinning , I cant praise the staff highly enough nothing was to much trouble would highly recommend this hotel will definitely stay there again .

While the rooms in this boutique hotel are small...there is a level of luxury about them that makes it a suitable stay. prior research is useful so no visitors are shocked! Staff are really friendly...thank you: ADAM WILLIAM ISHU RANDY RIRAN ...all service with a smile. Location is great...a few minutes walk from Tajong Nagar MRT on the green EW line...so easy to get to from the airport. Toiletries are nice in the shower. Breakfast is a served situation of one item from each category...seems limited...but it works and is enough. Overall...for the price and location...great base. This is the second time I've stayed here so that says something I guess!

비싸고 좋은 호텔은 싱가포르에 많지만 여기서의 경험은 독특했습니다. 공간이 넓거나 쾌적한 느낌을 주는 것은 아니지만 역사적이면서 아늑하고, 빈티지와 럭셔리 어디쯤의, 다른 호텔과는 분명히 차별적인 곳입니다. 전반적인 분위기가 다소 클래식하고 엄숙하다보니 뭔가 행동을 조심하게 되는 느낌은 있었는데, 스탭들은 모두 친절했습니다. 차이나타운, 특히 맥스웰 호커 센터와 가까워서 좋습니다.

The hotel is historic with interesting decor. it is conveniently located in Chinatown, near bars, restaurants and the subway station. Unfortunately, there is construction of a large building going on nearby. The hotel room was also nicely decorated, although it was small. Not big enough for a couple with two big suitcases. The sliding bathroom doors didn't close complete; one can guess what the consequences are. The floor in the bathroom. and shower was not clean. Breakfast was not bad.
