You could catch an event at Buca Hippodrome, a stadium in Buca. If you think Buca Hippodrome is cool, you also might like Izmir Ataturk Sport Hall and Alsancak Stadium, both located nearby.
It was good. Service was good. Breakfast could be better, more options but overall ok. Room service was good. A lot of markets and restaurants nearby. But no parking. Have to find on the street and its not easy. Little loud inside. You can hear the street. Windows need to be more noise reductive.
This is my "Go To" hotel when I visit Izmir because it is very close to the airport. It takes 5 to 10 minutes to get from the hotel to the airport, which means I can enjoy a longer lie in or enjoy the wonderful breakfast that they have in the restaurant.
