"Rooms were clean, breakfast buffet was varied, and the price was reasonable. Not the most touristic part of town but close to many places where to eat."
"Stayed here now for over a month on different trips. Great hotel, great friendly staff, great location, great breakfast and room service, and a fantastic pool. Highly recommend. "
"Was very apprehensive about staying in Lapa but after arriving I felt so much better. The hotel is in a perfect spot which made it easy to see Santa Teresa, the Lapa arches and sample local nightlife in Lapa. The staff were all so helpful and made our stay perfect. Would definitely stay again if I come back to Rio."
"Excellent customer service. Breakfast was abundant with lots of fresh fruit options. Room was cleaned daily was fresh bedding and towels. The area is vibrant and safe with a lot of food and shopping options. There is a mall just across the road. "

If you're interested in local religious buildings head to Santa Rosa— home to Basilica de Nossa Senhora Auxiliadora. Why not take a stroll along the beaches and watch the sunset while you're here?
The hotel was wonderful and the staff is very helpful. Modern decor and the Oceanview is worth the price. Definitely try to use the pool and sauna.

It was an off beat location but a completely private compound with gated security to enter! The front desk staff were very helpful and spoke English but no one else was English speaking making it difficult to order food and drinks but we made it work! It has an amazing pool grounds level and a wonderful well kept large hot tub, and sauna with a colder shower to keep balance. I left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated- definitely a nice place if you are looking for just a place feel comfortable and...
This was an amazing hotel, within walking distance to the US Embassy which was the purpose of the trip. We ordered dinner our first night and the salad was absolutely amazing, my fiancee was raving about how excellent everything was. The morning after the inclusive breakfast was phenomenal, amazing selection of juices, lots of variety and you could really tell it was a Brazilian breakfast. The bathroom was very nice, we loved the overhead shower as well as the hand held sprayer. Overlooking the...
The property was nice. The room (on 4th floor) had an interesting smell. I thought it smelled like moth repellant or cockroach repellant. But my wife said it smelled like moist mold or something. It wasn’t very bad. Breakfast was very good. The staff was really great.
The hotel itself is excellent. As soon as you step outside you’re risking your life. Filthy dirty, loaded with homeless people doing very obscene things on the street, lots of beggars.
Yoo2 Rio felt like our home for 12 days in Rio and simply enjoyed everything! I can say that our hotel room offers one of the best views in Rio! And what do I have to say about its hospitality service? The manager, Nathalia, greeted us warmly and her team promptly helped us with any request that we needed! Big thanks Nathalia, Larissa and Vanessa and her team at the restaurant.
Overall, we loved our stay and all the amenities especially rooftop area!! Thank you Yoo2 Rio for a wonderful stay!
I needed a place for the night and this served well. The breakfast was great.
Only negative remark would’ve that there was no towel in the room.
Otherwise definitely a place I’d pick again
