"Wonderful stay. Super easy check in on your phone, wonderful room, nice communal space, sparkling water on tap and complementary nespresso pods, and right next to the station.
Would definitely stay here again if returning"
"We can’t say enough good things about the Hotel Jardin. Excellent location on quiet street yet well within walking distance to historic Old Town and Bear Pit. Excellent breakfast buffet, clean nice size rooms, etc. But, what we liked most was the friendly and super helpful staff. We will definitely stay here on our next visit to Bern!"
"Spacious room with updated fixtures. The location may seem of concern at first ( it's in an industrial/commercial area), but it is close to tourism areas and excellent transportation."

This hotel has a wonderful little garden with flowers right in front of it.
A tram and bus station is right opposite of the hotels main entrance door.
You will get a free daily city tour ticket from hotel staff as long as you stay there.
Breakfast and dinner was absolutely superb.
Staff very friendly and helpful.
I will always return to the same place while visiting Bern.
Bring a good friend with you, because the TV- channels offered are really mad.
Its a great hotel. Worth every penny and more. It is an apartment which has 3 rooms. We were put in the room with King bed. There were 2 bathrooms shared between 3 rooms. but since one room was empty, we were given one bathroom with no one sharing with us. the room was very clean and everything was smelling fresh and new. it was very comfy. the apartment has a kitchen, which we used to make vegetarian food for us. the super market is just below the building so you can get the groceries and cook....
We loved our stay here. The room is nice and we really love the fully functioning kitchen. We also loved the location, just few steps from the train station. The price was very reasonable too. Just the only weird thing about it is the bathroom. It’s transparent, so when you take a shower or use the toilet, the other person could see you. Not a big deal for me cause im with my husband but for others it might not okay.
Personal was very friendly and help full.
Although, the hotel was far from old town, the public transportation was very close and reliable. I would stay here again.
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The breakfast was great and really good. Public transportation was across the street and very close to the hotel. Our room had a great view of the city and the Bern Expo. The staff were all friendly, and very helpful. Highly recommend this place. Definitely when we are visiting Bern we will stay here again. Thank you so much!!!
Excellent, super clean, very friendly staff and breakfast is very good, have a good vegetable for breakfast for vegan people. I can't just believe that the hotel is exceptionally good for just a 3 star hotel. Overall, the hotel is very clean, very organized and have a calm environment. The tram is just a very short ride from the hotel to the city center, just 2 stops and the walk from the hotel to the tram station is just a 5 min walk, basically 2 small blocks away. I am planning to stay in...
Regarding the price that I paied the hotel was very good. It is not far from centre and the breakfast was perfect. I will go there again if i want yo visit there again in the future.
Loved the look of the hotel room, as well as the location. Was easy to walk downtown and explore on foot to locations I had saved. Definitely would recommend to people. The rooftop was also a nice bonus
Hotel was walking distance to the city and shopping. For those not inclined to walk the hotel provided tram tickets for the duration of the stay! The hotel also had a great continental breakfast and the staff was EXCELLENT! Very friendly, accommodating and very informative- also spoke excellent English which was a bonus! Planning on staying there again on my next trip to Bern!
The hotel lives up to its name. From the gorgeous old wooden bar to its old-fashioned elevator, everything about this hotel wants to bring you back to "La Belle Epoque" The location is perfect; the famous clock in the center of town is less than five minutes' walk from the hotel, and even a person with a severely arthritic knee can get to any of the town's sites and cafes within fifteen minutes of walking. A very accommodating staff, an incredibly comfortable bed, a bartender who made some...
This Hotel is wonderful in every way! The staff was very accommodating and surprised us with an upgrade to a suite which had a huge balcony, kitchen, 2 baths and a living room. Did I mention 2 TVs! The breakfast was very good with a lot of fresh fruit, which I appreciated, meats, cheeses, eggs, assortment of breads and pastries. The location was perfectly situated just down the street from the train station and very, very close to all of the sights. The front desk was very kind in providing...
Rooms are small and very clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Bathroom small and very neat. Quiet and good location. Hotel gave us a free transportation card for bus and tram for downtown. Bern is a beautiful city.
Great hotel can get there from the train with a tram/bus or a brief walk 1km. Hotel was very modern and quiet. Breakfast had almost everything you would want. Will definitely visit again.
We are seniors in our 70s and 60s visiting Switzerland for the 1st time. We reserved 1-night stay in Hotel National Bern thru Hotel.com then decided to use Bern as base to do day trips, but at last minute no more room available thru Hotel.com. We reserved additional 3 nights thru Hotel National’s web site. During checking-in, Lady Tanja at reception desk looked at our physical conditions and offered possibility of 4-night stay without changing room. There were difficulties of two reservations in...
