Hotels in Panecillo

I’ve traveled all over the world, five countries in the last 12 months. I have to say that this hotel had the best customer service I’ve ever seen. I was treated like a king as a regular traveler. I never leave reviews but I want the next traveler to Quito to find this gem.

Excellent location. Very clean and in a quiet neighborhood, yet a few blocks from foch and a supermaxi.

The entire hotel is fresh, new, very tastefully decorated, very roomy, quiet and comfortable. In a quiet neighborhood, but just a short walk to great restaurants and nightlife. This was possibly the nicest hotel we have ever stayed in. We were greeted warmly at check-in, the hotel manager was very helpful and courteous, the facilities were beautiful and in excellent condition, and the breakfast was exceptionally good.

Spectacular value and very helpful staff. They also offer airport shuttle service if you stay 2 or more nights which would have been a $26 taxi ride.

We would stay here again. The location was great with a park across the street and nearby grocery stores. No restaurants were open nearby, despite it being Saturday night. The room was generally quiet and the sheets were super soft. The room was big and had good options to lay out our suitcases. The room also had a mini fridge, however there was no bottled water in the room. The toilet seat and toilet paper rack were both very loose, but the bathroom had a fan. Really cute hotel. Located near the nightlife area but far enough away so not loud or crazy. The beds are very comfy and the room was clean and the staff was welcoming. We paid about $60 a night (including taxes).

The environment at the hotel was extremely welcoming, the service was great and the room was well equipped and clean. I particularly enjoyed the walking tour with Santiago, who was very thorough with his explanations and showed us the best of Quito’s beautiful historical town! Even though I was traveling solo, I never felt alone because of the staff. I would definitely recommend this place to any travellers looking for a more personal and traditional trip in Quito!

This hotel was wonderful all around. If you are looking for something fancy then this place is not for you, but if you are looking for something that feels like staying in a friend's home then you will love this. This place feels more like a B and B than a hotel. The service is top-notch. They will arrange airport pickup and dropoff for you. It is located in the old town close to all the churches and museums. What a lovely property. Very historic and the plants and wall paintings give it a welcoming touch. Excellent friendly service, especially from Daniel. Breakfast was also very decent. Very good location in historical center, but the only drawback is that the hotel is on a street that has a lot of noisy bars. Best to request the very quiet rooms in the back. Otherwise a perfect stay.

I chose this hotel for its proximity to Quito's Plaza Grande and for the hotel's own plaza to show those traveling with me some of the architectural style, knowing that we wouldn't have a lot of time in Quito. The hotel is located in the historic center so walkable to all the sites. It's a lovely hotel and the rooms are large. The service is exceptional! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I would absolutely stay here again.

Spent 4 nights at this hotel in Feb 2018. It is located within an easy 3 minute walk to Plaza Grande on Venezuela St. Tell your taxi driver "Venezuela y Olmedo" that will get you to the nearest corner. The hotel is above a gift shop so you have to be let in/out by the staff. There is a buzzer at the door, and they answer quickly. This is an extra security measure and was not an inconvenience.
