"I and my three friends who stayed here had a very good experience. The staff was top notch-very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Two of us had breakfasts here every morning. The staff was wonderful, the made to order omelets were very good and there was a large selection of items. I was absolutely recommend this hotel and would stay again."
"Fun little stop in Osaka. Right by the West Gate entrance of the train station which makes easy hauling bags and ideal hop on trains to explore Osaka/Kyoto for day trips."
"We had a really pleasant stay. The view from our room was beautiful. Breakfast was great and the happy hour exceeded our expectations. Umeda is also a great neighborhood in Osaka.
During our stay in Japana we have been in 6 hotels and Intergate Umeda was by far the best."
"Ideally located for exploring Osaka and for visiting Universal, laundry onsite was super helpful and breakfast and a good quality and selection, lots of nice food places nearby also and staff very helpful, the room was also wonderful and made for an excellent stay"
"The room suited our family of five well. Traveling to Japan requires awareness that spaces tend to be smaller. Relative to last year’s accommodation, this size seemed appropriate to us. The staff remained highly helpful and exceptionally kind throughout our stay."

Great location, walking distance from the train station. Clean, friendly staff. Lots of free snacks and drinks, including noodle soup in the evening. Large hang out space at the lounge.
We stayed at a near by hotel for a couples days first and extended our Osaka trip staying at Monterey. We wished we booked here from the beginning!! Nice set up, spacious room. We loved their pillows! Cute decors too. West Exit of Osaka Station from Subways was a little confusing but we got used to it. 7 Eleven was by JR station and one near by. Easy walking distance to a lot of restaurants and Umeda area for shopping and transportation. This will be our hotel for Osaka stay!!
The hotel is in a nice, tucked away location and staff service is exceptional. Rooms are clean, simple and nice breakfast as well. Recommend for basic accommodations and convenience to Osaka station.
Location, The Design is truly lovely! Every amenity is perfection. We are architects and the collection of books in the Library/ Lobby was exceptional. If you value attention to detail as we do this will be the place for you!
This hotel is truly a hidden gem. Located on a busy side street, it is within walking distance of the Dotonbori district and several major subway lines, making it easy to explore the rest of the city. The room was comfortable and well equipped with good amenities. I especially enjoyed the lobby, which is set up like a cozy library with books and complimentary beverages. The laundry room is conveniently located next to the lobby and even has comfortable seating while you wait. The breakfast was...
We stayed for 3 nights. I would rate this hotel as PERFECT.
There are a few great things:
- Super quiet. I am extremely sensitive to noise, so big kudos to this.
- Great location. 4 min from Nagahoribashi station, and 8min from Shinsaibashi station. Walkable distance to Dontonburi and Shinsaibashi shopping area.
- Friendly and multi-lingual front desk.
- Clean and spacious room. It's an extremely big hotel room in Japan.
I will stay here again the next time visiting osaka.
The hotel is stunning!!
We were traveling for a very special occasion, and the hotel sent us a special gift that consisted of three sets of chopsticks, cookies, and a voucher for a drink at their beautiful bar. This was very thoughtful, and we really appreciated it.
There were 6 bottles of water refilled every morning and a ton of high-quality facial products, including bath salts for the tub. The location of this hotel is fantastic, close to everything, including the metro.
Great location for Osaka. Many things are walkable and those that aren’t the train station is just a few minutes away. The hotel is great and rooms are good sized. The breakfast buffet is decent
Train station was 5minutes walk from the hotel.
Though the room was on the smaller side, it was very fancy and had all the amenities and was well kept.
The staff was very nice and helpful as well.
They called us a taxi when we needed to get our luggage to the airport and walk us down and waited in the cold with us for the taxi to arrive. Great service!
We had a little bit of a hard time finding the entrance to the property because it’s was on the side of the building in the alleyway but it was flanked by a Lawsons AND a Sugi Pharamcy (both of which we visited several times during our 4 day stay.
The check in is on Floor 2 and staff was very friendly and helpful and quick!
Our room was on the 14th floor and I selected a corner room with the hope it would be spacious enough for three adults. When I opened the door I was relieved that there were...
In short it was perfect. Station right next door with none of the noise or heavy foot traffic and walking distance to many choices. And of course. Family mart next door was amazing. Great hotel! would definitely stay again.
The hotel was perfect for our needs. We had 3 beds in our room for our family. It was very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast selection was very good. Location was also great. One street over from a covered street with all kinds of restaurants and shops
