Hotels in Sumida

"Very good location for sumo fans, the ryogoku station is also not a crowded station with good restaurants nearby."

"Wonderful place to stay! Love how clean it was!!"

"Loved the location of the hotel. Very close to the subway and a shopping mall. There's a grocery store at the bottom of the hotel which we frequented quite often. The rooms are on the small size, but it seems that's fairly common with Japanese hotels. The laundromat is only 10 minute walk from the hotel. There is a 7-11 near the hotel where you can buy prepared food and lots of snacks."

"Great soundproofed room, very comfortable, though a bit small (but this is common in Tokyo). The buffet breakfast was surprisingly good given the price I paid. The area is great with lot of restaurants, shopping malls, department store. In particular the Seiyu department store has great precooked food and sushis. I actually had a few meals from Seiyu. The only downside is the carpet in my room was a bit smelly, but the odor went away once the housemaid did a room cleaning. "

"Great location, easy access to trains and access to grocery market, convenience store and retail. Only con is its sort of far from shibuya and shinjuku. 45 to 50 mins away by train"

"Our room didn't have a view of Tokyo Skytree tower, but the city view and night lights were still interesting. Train station is 2 minutes away, so very easy to go places like the Edo-Tokyo Museum. Air conditioning was decent and the bed was very comfortable."

"Great place to stay when visiting Asakusa, Tokyo Skytree tower & Senso-Ji shrine. Room was excellent, clean and well appointed. Shared bathrooms were clean and has everything you need. Excellent value too. Great place."

"Superior budget hotel in a nice location. Very close to the JR station and plenty of places to eat nearby."

"Very close proximity to Oedo Line (A1 exit). Bit of a walk to JR Line. 7-11 and Family Mart very close by. Nice hotel, friendly staff. Language barrier, but they tried their best. Furniture in room needs updating (squeaky drawers, loose cabinet hinges). Great for the price!!"

"Great location, perpetual snacks and helpful staff, a great Japanese hotel stay for the hip, solo traveler or couple."

"Great room, spacious for Tokyo and right next to a station. Loved how clean the space was. And unlike many Japanese based hotels, they give you two pillows per bed!!! What a dream 😅"

"Hotel location is very convenient,The hotel staff is very helpful and nice.Hotel is very clean. I am strongly recommended this hotel."

"This is at least 5 th times I stay there. It is my go to hotel in Tokyo. Staff are very attentive and professional. They attend you above and beyond. The hotel itself is always clean It is compact hotel yet every thing you need is there. Transportation is great. You can do anywhere from Kinshicho station so many great eats out and shopping there "

"Room was very clean and totally perfect for a solo traveler for 6 days. Good location close to trains and accommodating, friendly staff. Also vending machines in the lobby"

"Impeccable hotel! Great location too. 8 min walk from shinshito station. Room are spacious and calm. I recommend and glad i stayed there. Arigatō"

"The host was really kind and welcoming, and the place was super comfortable to stay in. I’d definitely come back if I visit Japan again!"

"I would highly recommend this hotel if your staying in Tokyo. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, the rooms are nice, clean and spacious for Japan. We will be back at Mimaru again when we visit Japan in the future."

"This is definitely a no-frills hotel but for its price was perfect, especially as a solo traveler. Had I not been solo traveling the room might have been a little small, especially the bathroom, but for just me it was a perfect home base for traveling around Tokyo and to surrounding areas. The bed was bigger than I expected, the view from the hotel was great, and the neighborhood was a perfect, quiet rest from the busy-ness of the rest of Tokyo. It’s close enough for some quiet morning walks to...
