We love this place we come every year .

The staff was friendly, the room was clean and comfortable - AND quiet! The only thing I noticed that they may want to change is when the lobby restrooms are cleaned. Both days this was during breakfast, which is of course the busiest time. This also happened while our seminar was going on, which meant when we had a break, the only restroom available to us was out of order. Yes the pool was great a lot of chairs for the guests, pool toys for the kids and adults and clean and friendly staff.

Close to beach but not beach front. About 5 minute walk to umbrella/chair rental. Close to places to eat. About 5 minutes to beach bar and restaurants. Must pay to park $35 a night. Has golf cart to take you anywhere within half mile.

Out of the remodeling which I was made aware of the room smelled a bit weird. But overall highly recommended!

Great experience, loved the breakfast.

Our stay was fabulous. You can see the boardwalk to the beach from our hotel door, the staff were more than welcoming and were friendly and helpful as we navigated evacuation and the hurricane. The room was small, but who cares? The front room had a kitchenette with everything we needed to cook for our family, a table and a very large and comfortable pull out couch. We enjoyed everything about our week stay. The staff are so nice. To respond to the person who said the live music next door kept her up is no way true. Once you close the slider you cant hear anything, very noise proof. Nice private beach, clean pool and hottub. Room was spacious with 2 burner stove, fridge, microwave and coffe pot. They even have cooking pans, plates, utensils etc. We enjoyed our stay so much this is our spot for now on as we come down 2-3 times a year

Amazing experience

This hotel definately exceeded our expectations. Even though it is an old building (built in the early 1900s), the staff is very proud of its heritage and previous famous guests. They have done an outstanding job renovating and upkeeping this place. The hotel areas and rooms were impecably clean and the ambiance was from an old high vintage high class hotel. Breakfast was terrible, there was literally no hot food for anyone, drinks was spilled on the floor and all the people in charge of breakfast was by the exit door on the other side of the hotel hanging out. I had to get a front desk person to assist in the clean up of the floor before someone fell.

Overall, a great experience and great staff
