"I had to book this room late at night due to a flight cancellation. They were friendly and helpful and perfect for what I needed which was a place to stay until I took the ferry in the morning. Annette was great, super nice the whole time. I would recommend learning spanish as most of the city people just speak spanish. The hosts were very gracious and we even ate dinner together a few times.

I had a wonderful stay at FAUNA Montevideo. The hosts were very helpful with check-in and check-out. They also had nice attention to details that made the stay even better such as water in the fridge, pleasant music in the lounge, drinks, and snacks. The decor of the hotel is great! We had a great stay at the Hyatt Montevideo. The views are beautiful, and the hotel is very comfortable and well maintained. Breakfast was very good, with a nice variety including hot options. We didn't use the amenities, but we really enjoyed the lounge downstairs. It was a lovely space, and the service there was excellent. Overall, a great experience!

For the location and quality of this hotel I thought the rate was very reasonable. The hotel opened Dec 1st 2015 so everything is brand new. The room (two double beds) was very large, great closet space, great view of the coastline, very nice and spacious bathroom. Hotel staff was very professional and responsive to questions, also helpful regarding tips for going sightseeing. Good WiFi, great TV and channel selection.

The staff are very friendly and professional and all things considered, I extended my stay because of the quality here. Normally I do not like staying in hotels more than 1 week. I could be happy here for a month or more.
