The room was also clean and the bed was sooooo comfortable. I was really impressed by how helpful the staff were, it's been a very long time since I have experienced staff carrying luggage to our rooms for us. This was like the 10th stay with Hotel Kundalini. So, I obviously love the hotel. It's about 100 meters north of the craziness of downtown Montanita You cannot hear anything but the ocean. Stayed for 5 nights with my girlfriend. The owners of the hotel are lovely people, they were both very helpful and attentive and even gave us a free breakfast when we showed up way before our check-in time. The property is beautiful and relaxing. If you want to surf this is the place to stay. Nice relaxing place. No waterview really unless you are in a specific place on the property. But other than that, the place was nice, the staff helpfull. Need a car to go to the beach or in town.

I arrived at the Dharma Beach Hotel to find that the room I had booked was not available. The manager told me he had advised hotels.com to cancel the booking, but they had not done this, so I received no communication that there were any issues with my reservation.
