"Had a fantastic stay at Punthill Sunshine. The room was huge and spotless, with a very comfortable bed and a great shower. The kitchen was well-furnished, which was a nice bonus. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and I really appreciated the complimentary still and sparkling water. Highly recommend!"
"I enjoyed a 1 night stopover. Convenient location to airport. 24 hr Shuttle service was excellent as plane was delayed so didnt need to worry sbout being late or missing the service. Breakfast also good. Would stay again."
"I stayed for one night at this hotel - what clearly stands out is the customer service orientation of their staff - very friendly, helpful. You feel they really care to make sure one has a great stay.
Overall the hotel is clean, quiet, spacious rooms, comfy beds - all good. Very convenient airport shuttle on call.

"My wife & I have a new favourite hotel in Melbourne CBD, this is it.
The staff are wonderful, the room was spotless and the 180 degree city view was a game changer.
Being in the CBD, it is surrounded by restaurants, bars & theatres.
We look forward to our next visit."

Apart from the friendly and efficient reception staff, my room was impeccably clean.
Most pleasing was the well prepared and presented evening meal. The eye fillet was exactly cooked to my request for medium. My only suggestion would be that the mashed potato base would been less stogey with the use of such as Kennebec.

Excellent place to stop for the night. It's close to some shopping, and only 15-20 minutes from the Melbourne airport.

I didn’t arrive at the Hotel until after 3am and checked out early, so wasn’t really there long enough to really rate the Hotel properly. I slept through breakfast so missed that. But definitely want to give a big shout out to the fellow on the Reception. Once I got up to my room for whatever reason my combination lock on my suitcase would not unlock and I was getting quite upset as I couldn’t open it. As a person in a wheelchair, I appreciated the simple layout of the rooms. Easy place to store my chair (I'm always looking for the place of the outlets) and pretty simple desk chairs to use. The beds are always too high for me so I always need to boost myself with the desk chairs.
Some hotels go over the top with their desk chairs making it hard to climb into bed. But this was pretty straight forward.

Perfect location for getting around the city. Breakfast amazing and the service was top notch. We will stay again when we are in Melbourne so happy we found this little gem.
Our stay was transitional as we had an early flight the next morning and wanted to be close to the airport. We were offered an early check in which was great. Staff were friendly and offered suggestions on local area. The unit was perfect. Very clean and spacious. We would be interested in a longer term stay next time we are in Melbourne.
