Arc la Rambla
8/10 Good
"Room was clean and AC was good and a had a balcony and could put a chair on it. Negatives were the construction on las ramblas so very loud and dusty with window open so had to keep it closed. Staff was very nice and amenity tables to do work on ground floor with many plugs was helpful. There was also an ice and water refill station. The pillows were too thick for me though they were memory foam too firm. Other thank that location was great central to everything and easy to walk to Jaume metro"
"Great hotel adjacent to Sants train station with Mercadona supermarket underneath. Reception staff were friendly and welcoming and provided a room upgrade which meant we had to wait till 4pm for room, however a complimentary drink was provided while we waited. The room was clean and maid service provided clean towels every day. The pool area was a real highlight and was great to come back to after a hot day of sightseeing.
My only critique would be around how conferences are situated in the hotel, there was one there from our second day and they closed off the WC on the third floor which meant we had to go all the way back to our room to use the toilet. They also took over our table at breakfast forcing us to move despite my 10 year old son sitting there. The staff in the restaurant on the top floor were also rude and unhelpful, although I'm not sure if this is affilliated with the hotel but it still reflects poorly on the Moxy."
" Heals our luggage on pre checkin. Girls were great however the fella that checked us in not so great. I had to return to the desk 3 Times didn’t explain the card system to us . One phone in room didn’t work to call the desk and air conditioner was off at 30c weather. We ordered dinner after a very long day. Chicken breast & Raisin Salad the chicken wasn’t even warm . My husbands chicken had bones in it and half was a drumstick. Mine was just cold. So my dinner consisted of a thin slice of Cucumber and a few leaves of spinach.
Our waiter never can back to check on us at all after the food was delivered! We sat there for at least 1:2 hr and No one came back!!! Finally my husband had to leave for the bathroom and I stayed at the table trying to get someone’s attention at the Restaurant/Bar finally the gal clearing tables got someone else to come over. I explained, he took the plates and still I sat for 10 min and no one came to me at our table.
I then walked past the Bar and told home I’m leaving and he said I wouldn’t be charged. Guess Not I didn’t get my dinner!!
Breakfasts was outstanding!"
