Staff was friendly and helpful. Bed was super comfy and area quiet. It was the perfect retreat spot before hiking.

Well, it starts with the view of the lake, and the inviting outdoor places to sit...and the interior amenities have been carefully and sympathetically planned for the comfort of travelers on the road...individual lighting for reading in bed, comfy lounge chairs, easy parking near the room, short distance to restaurants and shops. It was lovely to have 2 nights there, on each side of the boat trip to Doubtful Sound. Thanks for the hospitality.

This may be the cleanest home I've ever been in (including my own...ha!) Beds were comfortable, location was quiet, gardens surrounding the home were lovely. We stayed in the off season so the town was closed up tight, but we had anticipated the need to bring some food with us. I'd book this home again in a heartbeat.

Lovely property that was a very pleasant surprise upon arriving in Te Anau. Spacious rooms and the staff are friendly and helpful. Would stay here again if I return to the Fiordlands!

Our hosts were very accomodating for our late arrival! As we were checking out and hubby was trying to clean the windows of our car, one of the housekeeper's offered windex and rags to him so that we could see all the beauty around us! We were given a discount card for a local restaurant and treated very kindly! All was perfect!

Clean, comfortable beds and easy walking to restaurants

I don't need to say much about this amazing hotel. The location is incredibly convenient to downtown Queenstown. You can walk to all of the restaurants and nightlife. All of the staff are attentive and helpful. The room we stayed in had a top-notch bed and luxurious sheets. The floors in the bathroom are heated, as is the towel rack. There was a TV in the bathroom for the tub area. It isn't the cheapest hotel in town, but for the price it is worth it and then some.

The hotel owner was very pleasant and the location was 2 minutes walking to dining options. The room was nice and clean. Also 1 minute walking to lake walking paths.

We stayed here for 2 weeks for fly-fishing. Our 2-bedroom unit was large, well equipped for cooking, comfortably furnished, an easy walk into Gore to shop, dine or visit the public rose garden, and a convenient drive to fishing streams. Kelly and James, the proprietors, are friendly, welcoming and helpful. We will stay here again next season.

Spacious clean room in large motel complex, just a short walk across the street from the lake. Laundry facilities available. We had a lovely stay here in the pouring rain, walked everywhere in town.

Great stay, beyond please with the support AND kindness of the staff. We were traveling and had meetings but also family in our room, the staff was able to assist in getting us set up for successful quiet meetings. We plan to return in the near future.

Very large, comfortable room with all facilities. Very high standards of cleanliness and room maintenance. Friendly staff and a good restaurant/cafe serving pub grub type food. Excellent value for money.

The room is clean and decent size. Staff was amazing, Staff let me to check in 2 hours earlier then the normal check in time. Staff are very helpful and respond quickly.
