Southland Hotels

This lodge exceeded our expectations. Briedi & Brad were so welcoming. The lodge itself is beautifully set up on hill overlooking the lake with the beautiful snowcapped mountains in the background-simply amazing. We highly recommend this lodge

This was easily the highlight of a trip full of highlights. The staff was incredible, made us feel like royalty. The food was top notch, and the boat was breathtaking. Our original trip to Milford Sound had to be moved to Doubtful Sound due to a road outage. The owners went above and beyond to make sure our trip went uninterrupted. I would recommend this cruise even at twice the price. An unforgettable experience. Thank you to the captain, owners, and all the staff.

Lovely hotel well designed nice views staff were helpful friendly all round 10/10 stay all though what would make rooms better if it had a TV in bathroom that's just a thought

Clean and comfortable with easy on-site parking, good Wifi/smart TV. Very nice staff. Washer/dryer for $NZ 5 per load. Mini fridge, microwave, electric kettle, black out curtains. Excellent Indian restaurant a block away.

Our hosts were very accomodating for our late arrival! As we were checking out and hubby was trying to clean the windows of our car, one of the housekeeper's offered windex and rags to him so that we could see all the beauty around us! We were given a discount card for a local restaurant and treated very kindly! All was perfect!

It was a nice run that was close to town and to the adventures around the town

We enjoyed our stay, Phillipa and Rob are excellent hosts. The choice for breakfast was amazing, fresh fruit and muffins. A quick and easy access to the ferry point. Would highly recommend staying here.

Found my new place to stay whenever I am in Queenstown. Very clean rooms, easy check-in & check-out and staff ( Gordon & Will) were extremely professional.

The St. Mortiz was the perfect place for our honeymoon. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We stayed in a suite with a kitchenette, living room, semi private garden. The room was modern, clean and even came with bath robes for use during our visit. The location is a short walk to the lakefront restaurants and bars. Also, the breakfast buffet was delicious and was the perfect start to our day! We will definitely stay at the St. Mortiz again next time in NZ.

Great room and very accommodating staff. Room is very well appointed. We had an awesome stay.

It is what you would expect, decently clean room and excellent customer service

Staff was friendly, gave helpful advice and dinner recommendation at a nice hotel just a short walk a way.

Perfect location right next to the lake. We stayed here twice, and would stay again. The rooms do need some upgrade, but they are comfortable and clean. The front desk, concierge, and valet were all nice and helpful.

The staff here really saved our trip! We had rented a car in Christchurch for our South Island portion of our trip and unfortunately had a screw wedge into our tire. Over the night we stayed, the tire became flat. We woke up to find this out the next morning, a Sunday, when we were planning to head out of town to our next destination. The manager went out of their way to allow us to check out later AND even posted to the local Facebook group to find a mechanic to help us when all shops were...

Staff was amazing. Great location

Nice place! Good locations and helpful friendly staff

Very large, comfortable room with all facilities. Very high standards of cleanliness and room maintenance. Friendly staff and a good restaurant/cafe serving pub grub type food. Excellent value for money.

Clean room, nice shared areas and kitchen
