"For a resort that’s listed as a premium property it was overall disappointing. Room service staff and food was just terrible. Staff unable to take orders or get them right. Appreciate that English is not the language in this country but the non-local staff should be trained in English as that was the main way to communicate. We had to return our food a few times and the staff were visibly irritated and rude when we sent it back.
Even after paying for a late checkout we had multiple phone calls to the room during the asking when we were going to leave and if we were ready to leave. Rooms had lukewarm water and when I asked the staff they said that’s as good as it gets.
The actual Restaurant staff were very nice and helpful. There were a number of the front desk staff that were also very helpful. Rooms were big and beds comfortable.
Paying the amount we did for this place I would expect a much higher standard of service and ability to communicate with guests. "
"Excellent hotel with friendly, attentive staff. I spent 4 nights here. The room was spacious and very clean. Excellent housekeeping staff. Breakfast was excellent. Located near the big mosque which was nice to see. Highly recommended. "
"I have stayed at this hotel several times now and it is what I call cheap and cheerful. But I think it is time to spend a bit more money updating the property. This time, I stayed in the same room as last time (6 months ago). The towel rail is still broken. The stench of sewage still comes up from the drain in the bathroom. The shower is VERY nice with excellent water pressure but the drain cannot handle that much water so water spills all over the bathroom floor. The place is very safe but the front door to the hotel room is light and flimsy. It could easily be kicked in. The bathroom door is old and stained. I love the swimming pool and the close proximity to a lovely beach. But it's time this property got some love and affection!"
