We just spent a wonderful 5 nights at the Oberoi and loved every second. The rooms are large and luxurious with a private terrace and an especially nice bathtub big enough for 2. The water sports are gratis including a snorkel boat 3x a day that goes out to just past the reef very closeby. The snorkeling right off the beach is also nice and full of fish. We originally booked at another hotel and stuck it out for two days until enough was enough. Pros: We loved the staff's friendliness, beach cleanliness, and ocean view. All staff members treated us kindly and were very inviting and welcoming at all times, especially Gesh who was always ensuring that we were satisfied at all levels and willing to take the extra mile to accommodate whatever needs we had. Set under the backdrop of the Le Morne mountain, this resort is the epitome of paradise. The staff, the beach, westward facing for the most incredible Indian Ocean sunsets, the facilities, all are top notch, everything designed for your relaxation and pleasure. 5 star service at every turn. 5 star cuisine, and one of the most picturesque locations in the southwest of Mauritius. thank you to all who made our 10,000 mile trip from New York one to remember.

I couldn't find out any demerit of Voile Bleue. Perfect place to rest and spend vacation. Beautiful seashore, kind people, exciting events, delicious food... I should be back in this cozy place again whenever I visit Mauritius.

The service at this resort is impeccable. Every aspect is luxury from the rooftop pool to the beautiful beach. There is an abundance of loungers and while some people put out towels at sunrise, it was unnecessary as we never had a problem finding a longer at any time of day. This might not be the resort for you if you have children that would like to be entertained but as a couple enjoying a romantic getaway this was exactly what we were looking for. This is the most idyllically suituated hotel on the North East coast of Mauritius and boasts a proud heritage in its many years of existence. Many of the guests are repeat visitors some as many as over the past 30 years and all are pleased to be here. Great location, easy walk to the main street in Grand Baie. Very quiet and comfortable. Great little hotel. This property is small but it's very neat and clean. Owners are very friendly, helpful, lovely and easy going. Both English and French speaking… Great for us as we only spoke English. Price was very reasonable for location.. So much easier to be able to stroll to the restaurants, bars or beach. Say "Hi" to Chilli for me... :-)

Staff was very collaborative & helpful, good atmosphere. The pool is very nice and the breakfast delivered to the bedroom was a good change. No water bottles in the room & you only get complimentary coffee on the first day, need more space in the parking too but the stay there was very enjoyable.

So if you are studying online reviews you may be asking yourself, what is the South of Mauritius like, how is the beach at this resort, how far from airport, what are the restaurants like, will I like 'the orange and green bright design' rooms.
