This property and the Staff are amazing. They deserve every award and it was truly an incredible stay. We have had the opportunity to travel the world and have stayed in many 5 star hotels…I would rate The Laurel as one of those experiences. If you have the opportunity to be in Auburn it is a MUST. I booked through Expedia and they (Expedia) misrepresented the accommodations. The information about the room and the email confirmation I received stated that the room would have 2 queen beds and a fold-out couch. When we arrived late in the evening we discovered there was no fold-out couch. My daughter's boyfriend was with us and thus, had nowhere to sleep. This is my first time leaving a review. When I walked in, the lady at the front desk made me feel like I was home! No joke. I even told my mom about it. She was so warm and inviting and made it seem like we had known each other forever. The hotel has this cool robot called Tigerbot. Wonderful facility!! This is a very clean, modern, technologically current motel The staff is very professional, friendly, and accomodating. They offer a complimentary breakfast that represents a wide variety of healthy foods. The food presentation is organized and very clean.

We booked a golf weekend here because this very comfortable hotel is only about 15 minutes away from the Robert Trent Jones Grand National Golf Course at Opelika. It is also very close to the Auburn University Campus. So the location and price make it a very good value. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Friendliest staff ever. Everyone. After finding out his brother had just died, Jessica at front desk gave my husband a handwritten note and snack bag the next time she saw him. Her kindness really touched him. Will definitely stay there again.

It was a quick but pleasant stay, we arrived late and the front doors lock at 10pm but we were let right in. Check in was quick and easy, I didn’t get a name but she was very friendly and polite. Checked out on the app, grabbed a quick breakfast for the road and dropped the room keys in the box at the front desk. The room was clean and beds were comfortable.
