"We arrived on a Saturday afternoon and were given a room that was on the first floor with a door out to the sun deck. We were quite tired and thought a nap would be good but no hope as we had the constant noise of the extractor fan from the kitchen going up the wall outside, even if we shut all the windows we heard it. I went back to reception and said we weren’t happy with the noise, we were offered another room but that opened onto the busy sitting area that people were having drinks at so we declined it. We were told the fan would go off about 9.30pm and on again in the morning at 7.30am, we were too tired by then to look at moving to another hotel and our room was unrefundable for the two nights so had to stay. Then the staff set up the roof top bar for a large group and had the music going loudly when there was no one there!!! We also saw that it was set up for a DJ so knew it would get louder, another trip to reception and we were told the music would stop at 8.30pm. We had dinner at the hotel which was very nice as was breakfast. Sunday night was quieter at the hotel but Monday morning at 6.53am the kitchen fan went on and woke us up, not the slightly more acceptable 7.30am we had been told!!!! Unbelievable!!!!! This place is supposed to be a luxury hotel, it might be if you get the right room. I did complain at the time to the staff but was told ‘we offered you a different room’ but that was just as bad. The fan going constantly was so annoying."
"Amazing location and accommodation. The only thing to note is the drive up to the apartment. It’s high up and my husband is afraid of heights. Once you have done it , it gets fine lol but it’s so worth it.
Breakfast is served in the apartment and the beds were perfect. Great two nights and loved every minute of it."
"Can highly recommend this hotel. The whole town was without power for days after the storms and fortunately this hotel had a generator. It was worth paying a little extra for the honeymoon suite to have a bath, balcony with great views and extra space. We ate breakfast and dinner in the restaurant “Adi’s Kitchen “ each day. There was a terrific variety of food to select from- all great quality and value. Service at the hotel was great. Anthea at reception was very helpful. The rooms were very clean and comfortable"
"Location was good and parking was secure. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were spacious, but not very nice. And my son told me the place had a bug problem"
