Bhutan National Museum is 0.8 mi (1.3 km) from central Paro, why not stop by during your stay. If you want to experience more of the culture Paro has to offer, head to Paro Sunday Market, Rinpung Dzong, and Druk Choeding.
"The employees were very friendly. The room was spacious but a few issues like damp smell in bathroom, mould there, light not working in bedroom, bed sheet torn and sheets were too small for the bed and did not fully cover the mattress or the duvet. Can’t open windows due to no screens and bugs come in. Okay breakfast but would be good to advise all guests of eggs being available and all foods drinks on buffet should be labelled. I had an omelet which was nicely done. When I reported the smell in the bathroom an air freshener thing was hung in the bathroom to cover it up. Location was good and easy walk to shops and restaurants. 10 minute drive to airport. I by chance met some other guests who stayed and they had similar issues."
"We had a very pleasant stay at Green Valley Boutique. The hotel is situated in a very central place in Paro, only a few minutes walk to a lot of restaurants and less than 10min taxi drive to the airport. It’s on a back street 1 block away from the main road, so it’s very convenient but still very quiet. The staffs were friendly and the breakfast was the best we had throughout our trip in Bhutan. We prepaid for the hotel on Expedia because we didn’t want to worry about handling payment in Bhutan, and we had no problem upon arrival. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone visiting Paro. "
"Spotless quiet rooms nearby to Tigers Nest. Kind friendly staff and great food served in the restaurant. A short taxi/car ride to the centre of Paro.
Had a massage here after Tiger’s Nest hike, which was also excellent. "
"Pros - The rooms were extremely spacious and large. The view around the hotel was amazing with the river just along the property. The bathrooms were extraordinarily huge.
Cons - the bathroom floors were marbel which during the period of december were almost unbearable to walk on barefoot.
Otherwise highly recommend. "
"New hotel with excellent interiors. Rustic but luxurious decor. Very comfortable with modern technology. I was treated very well by all the staff! Very reasonably priced. I would stay there again. "
"Hotel is located almost at center of Paro. Easy access, 5-10 mins to airport by car, and you can walk out the gate to downtown streets and innumerable shops in just steps. All the staff are very friendly, striving to accommodate diverse cultural needs and tastes. The hotel is very quiet as it is surrounded by rice paddies, yet in downtown Paro - unique. Onsite dining room and separate bar present beautiful views of Paro valley, national museum, dzong, etc. and serve clean, organic vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes from local and world cuisines. You may also order room service in advance, if wishing to rest and eat in privacy. Jigme, the manager, went above and beyond assisting the group with which I was touring Bhutan, and those of us who stayed on a few days after our tour group dispersed enjoyed every moment. I highly recommend this property for its full service and proximity to many sacred sites, in and around Paro, Bhutan. "
