"They will make you wait until 3:01pm to check unless you pay that $40 early check in fee. I might be a weirdo but bring your own towel and slides/shower shoes, you couldn’t pay me to raw foot those room/shower floors. Parking was only annoying in the morning (street cleaning). Solid 6/10 "

It brought me back to my stay at Hotel Esmeralda in Paris.The family run staff are very friendly and attentive.It’s a must see filled with a collection of antiquities and artwork. "This is an odd little hotel on Flushing Main Street. Very convenient to the LIRR and Subway Line 7. Lots of grocery and Chinese good options around. Also a 24 hr Duane Reade close by. The hotel itself is old, tired, and in sore need of renovation. However, for the cost, in NYC close to the subway, it was a good deal."

"Was only here maybe 6 hours , just a quick nap en route to LGA. Shuttle service was prompt and efficient, runs every 20 mins. Didn't get to try breakfast or use any of the amenities due to early takeoff. Nice, clean, friendly. Nite that the hotel has carpets, which in humid weather can smell sort of musty.
