But if you're expecting the rooms to match what you see online, prepare to recalibrate. The rooms are genuinely tiny — even by Paris standards. "As with many places we've stayed, location is the best feature of this hotel. If you're used to walking, it's less than 10 minutes to many attractions. Otherwise, a 2 minute walk to Metro or less than one minute to a city bus. The rooms clean, the staff very friendly and helpful, the bed comfortable. Actually fairly quiet for being in the city. As for restaurants, there aren't a lot close, but I highly recommend Hugo. Just around the corner."

The room was a good size - especially for Paris - and had a good amount of storage space. There was a kettle, a standard courtesy tray and a stocked minibar. "Great staff, very clean room. Do note that the 10th arrondissement is loud and police sirens were ongoing throughout the night. If you are a light sleeper you will need ear plugs. Other than this, just a few blocks away from Gare du Nord, and on the 4 Metro Line, so easy to get anywhere in the city. "
