The building is restored and unique. It has a roof terrace, a set aside area to read and enjoy a beverage and the restaurant had excellent food. The rate was very reasonable and the staff is very helpful. "

Hotel Mama Cuchara is a lovely boutique hotel with a great location. The breakfast is delicious and the team took great care of us. We loved our stay there and would absolutely come back and stay again next time we are in Quito.
The hotel is located in the historic center so walkable to all the sites. It's a lovely hotel and the rooms are large. The service is exceptional! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I would absolutely stay here again.
Hotel Casa San Marcos is located on a quiet street in Old Town, Quito. It's close to great restaurants, the beautiful churches, and wonderful squares and attractions. We will stay here again in the future.
Great location. Mall across the street with super maxi. Lots atms. Strip club across the street. Easy taxi ride to anywhere you need. Staff is excellent. No ac but I had cheap room. Didn’t need it though.

This hotel was perfect for our family trip to Ecuador to attend my daughter’s wedding. We took almost all of the rooms and the service, breakfasts, help in arranging taxis, was exceptional. The view from the rooftop is fabulous as well! The rooms were very large and comfortable. We would absolutely stay here again.
I’ve traveled all over the world, five countries in the last 12 months. I have to say that this hotel had the best customer service I’ve ever seen. I was treated like a king as a regular traveler. I never leave reviews but I want the next traveler to Quito to find this gem.
I was very impressed with both the people and the facilities. I traveled alone to a place that was completely strange to me. I never felt alone. Everyday at breakfast (very tasty) the staff made sure that my plan for the day would work. They had a sincere interest in my well being and my experience in Ecuador. I would whole heartedly recommend this hotel. They made my trip wonderful.
We stayed at Hotel Casa Gardenia for two lovely nights. It's located on a very quiet, nondescript cobblestone street just a few blocks from the Plaza Grande. The owners and staff were all very helpful and gave us a map of the area with recommendations on sites to visit. If you like to just walk around and explore, then the Hotel is in a great location for doing just that. We explored almost all of Old Town Quito without ever having to hire a driver. What a lovely property. Very historic and the plants and wall paintings give it a welcoming touch. Excellent friendly service, especially from Daniel. Breakfast was also very decent. Very good location in historical center, but the only drawback is that the hotel is on a street that has a lot of noisy bars. Best to request the very quiet rooms in the back. Otherwise a perfect stay.
