"Hotel Saranac is perfectly located for a weekend in the Adirondacks, in the heart of Saranac Lake for easy walking to restaurants, a short bike ride to the Rail Trail, and a reasonable drive to great hiking and outdoor opportunities. It’s a great historic hotel with lots of character and an amazing bar and lounge area, with great views of town and the mountains. Parking is plentiful and free. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. It is accessible and user friendly for guests that have mobility challenges."

"Had a fantastic stay here for 5 nights. The hotel is lovely, and an added bonus I didn’t know before I booked it was they had free paddle boards and kayaks for hire on Lake Placid. A few of the gas fire pits were out of gas which was a shame. The location was great, close to the shops on mirror lake and plenty of things to do like Whiteface mountain."

"We had an amazing experience. It’s in a great location, the rooms were clean and overlooking the beautiful property. The staff was friendly and it was a really nice oasis in the hassle and bustle of life. We stayed in a cabin and it was perfect for stargazing."

"Beds were clean and comfortable. Bathroom clean. My daughter loved the little heater in the bathroom. She said it felt like a high class hotel. Plus the mirror over the sink was really amazing. It was a contactless entry and deport."
