"Great location, excellent staff, and great facilities"

"Great place for the money, very secluded and unique "

"This is a rustic safari camp. My guide was excellent. He knew his way around the Massai Mara. He pointed out most of the major animals and their habitat."

"Very nice rooms l. Worth a stay"

"Absolutely loved our time at Basecamp. The location is perfect, at the edge of the Masai Mara, we heard the lions at night, while sleeping. The staff all of them, were so friendly and helpful from the front staff to the night guards. Camp on a river, so you see the animals come for water, open view to see them roaming across the river! Perfect setting! So peaceful! The best cook Enoc! You don't want to miss his food! We booked 2 nights and ended up staying three! Loved the Masai Mara,...

"We spent 3 nights here and were very impressed with the staff’s interest in our welfare. Peter sorted out the toilet flush very quickly. Jonathan found a Black Rhino for us which was very exciting. They made sure our transfer to the airport went without a glitch"

"Most amazing experience. Everything was exceptionel. Wunderfull Staff who always do their very best to make you feel comftable and happy. I have very high expectations to hotels, camps etc. This place really delivered the best service Ever in every aspect. Thank you all."

"Their dining is superb, unlike any safari oriented place I've ever stayed, which is over 30 times. Their menu is extensive, and I mean first-class. You order one hour before because it takes time to create great food in the wilds of Masai Mara.. Simply amazing. I would go back just for the food. Their overall service is excellent and the lodging/tents are fine. Maybe a little more lighting would made the women happier (my wife). Their safari guide/driver was the best we had during our 10 full...

"never visited worse place than this. starting from reception all the way down. hidden charges, impolite people, mosquitoes, electric city, guost like at nite, cant get any worse. especillay when you pay double the charges than othar places, and other camp I stayes was half price and 100% better."

"The staff was extremely pleasant especially Anne, Cate and Duncan. Making sure we were always taken care of!"

"You will feel like at home with your family."

"Very beautiful lodge in the Masai Mara, surrounded by nature's beauty and the staff provided top notch attention and service. The food was very good. Loved staying here"

"Our safari at Lorian was absolutely outstanding and epic! It was small and very personal, with amazing service and food. We were blown away having gourmet dinners and meals cooked personally for us while in the "back country", overlooking a river with hippos, and right in the safari country. Betty was our game driver and was amazing. She was constantly on the phone with other drivers tracking what animals were where. We saw a leopard with a kill up in a tree, a lioness take down a wildebeest,...

"Very nice people made you feel at home"

"Fairly basic, but functional. Food was good."

"Nicest staff we‘ve probably ever had - sooo insanely nice! We loved the stay next to the park entry with super nice dinner. Sunset are fantastic. Cannot recommend more! 🙌"
