"a lovely property with the most amazing staff especially the manager Mr Peehann. Start with the property which was lovely, comfortable and clean with decent sized rooms. The hotel prepared a breakfast each morning with eggs but local pho was available. Additionally the coffee saffron was excellent. The property has a great pool where one can relax and even the cross river boat isn't running and there was no bamboo bridge - the hotel arranged a free taxi into town every day. As mentioned the...

"Beautiful hotel, great location, delicious breakfast."

"Very very stylish architecture and very thoughtful staff."

"This place is amazing ! A very peaceful place to relax for a few days. The staff are really polite and helpful. The rooms have good AC and a good shower. There is a restaurant onsite and the food is great. I would recommend a few nights here as it is beautiful to spend a full day sitting on your riverside porch watching the river flow by. "Good location ,nice staff , nice room "

"I really enjoyed my stay at Villa Somphong. The AC kept the room at a cool temperature despite it being very hot outside, free water and room cleaning was offered everyday and the owner was very kind and helpful. It felt very authentic to this part of Southeast Asia. The hotel is very close (walking distance) to temples, stores and restaurants as well as the Mekong river, and there are usually tuktuk drivers close. I would gladly come back here!"
