"No issues and high marks all around. Staff was great at checkin and out and during stay. Included breakfast was just right and the daily free wine and cheese plus other goodies was a treat. Would highly recommend to anyone heading to SF area. Location is perfect, block away from Haight and across street for Golden Gate Park and easy public transportation access minutes away. "Love love loved this hotel and its unique location! As Japan lovers, we really felt like we were in Japan with all the decor and design elements. Very comfortable rooms and setup, friendly staff and CONVENIENTLY located at the heart of Japan town, walking distance to Fillmore st with access to the bus and easy to get in and around town. Highly recommend!!!!"

"Place felt like a boutique hotel without the price tag. Great location with lots of great food options nearby. Felt safe with key card needed to enter hotel, hallways and elevator. I would stay here again."

"This place was very beautiful and we felt very secure with the lobby door only opening with your access key card or the receptionist opening it for you. Their valet was also very helpful, you just have to leave it parked in front of the hotel without blocking the bike lane and let the receptionist know you want valet parking. They are so helpful."
