"The property is beautiful, but there were only a handful of other guests, there's no music playing in the main spaces, a lot of the lighting is off, the boutique was closed, & there's no entertainment, so it felt kind of strange & empty. The restaurant had a limited menu but the food was pretty good. However, because there were so few people, the staff was spending a lot of time on their phones, which made service feel cold and unengaged. The shuttle to/from the Tren Maya Calakmul train station was convenient & the shuttle over to the the site in the morning is an easy 20 minute ride"

"Super clean, well maintained, quiet, within walk distance of the old city, kind staff, and great food. The only down fall for me was the were like sleeping on a Mayan alter! If you enjoy extremely firm beds, then these beds are for you! For the rest of us, be sure to back back pain medication….for really!"
