I booked the room to get some rest during a 13-hour layover and although this property was a bit further from the airport than I originally thought, the hotel was clean and staff friendly.
The next morning I found the hotel was within walking distance of the commuter train that took me right to the airport and I made my flight home without issue.

This was my first time in Amsterdam. Used the hotel for 3 nights before leaving on a 21 day cruise. The rooms are wonderful. Bathroom and shower all modern. Food options good for staying at the hotel. The daily use for the shuttle to and from the airport worked terrific. We used it for getting to the airport with all the trains going anywhere. I would come back here for any future trips. All the staff was excellent. Jon Huntington Beach CA.

Easy check in, clean room, good vibes. The Dude bar was a nice touch. The only knock is the location away from downtown, but it's 9 or 15 min away from two main metro stations, so not a significant issue.

I really loved this hostel. The interior design and decor was great and I took some photos of it. Everyone I shared a room with was cool and there were security features in place to keep items protected while out and about in the city. The hostel has multiple seating areas to bring a laptop to do work, and a variety of seating options and style for different comfort levels. There are always activities going on and even the restaurant/bar in the hostel had a great variety of choices, including a...

My friend and I both enjoyed our stay at Green Elephant Hostel. Staff were very welcoming and helpful, and our hostel was clean, inviting and offered several on site amenities. It is conveniently located right near the train station as well. I would definitely recommend the hostel for your stay in Maastricht.
