"Lodge was just as pictured. Great little lodge with beautiful and spacious room. It was clean and modern while maintaining that rustic lodge feel. The staff was so nice and very helpful. Nice little dining area with surprisingly good food. They had a very nice outdoor patio area. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to take advantage of it. The location was perfect for us. Just minutes from the entry to Plitvice Lakes National Park and also just a short drive to Zeljava Aerodrome."

"The host was amazing. Friendly and knowledgeable. He showed us where the "hidden" entrance 3 was and his directions to see the park allowed us to take advantage of moving (mostly) opposite the usual flow, and using the park tram for the uphill portion. There are few restaurants in the area. Okay if you have a car, but if don't, the menu is limited. Don't get me wrong, the food was pretty good (the vegetables were probably frozen as they were still cold in the middle) but it's meat or fish or a plate of vegetables and potatoes with salad and be pre-advised, it's cash only!"

"Had not noticed the detail of needing to check into the restaurant on arrival which is a 5min drive down the road. Luckily the owner was at the property and checked us in. Room was clean with tea, coffee and TV. Comfy bed. Good space. Bathroom was good apart from not quite closing shower unit and shower pole didnt keep head in place properly. Had to drive for dinner as 20min walk which was dimly lit and sound of dogs in woods made us nervous. Dinner was good. Breakfast options were ok."

"From the information we received after booking and throughout this was a great experience. Villa Verde is spotless, comfortable and convenient to Plitvice NP. On arrival we were given personal orientation to the park, To top it off the breakfast was wonderful. One of the best managed hotels I have ever stayed in!!"

"Building and room were modern, spotless, well equipped and comfortable in size. Check-in was friendly. Adjoining restaurant (owned and/or operated by the same family I believe) was outstanding and after eating there our first night, we returned there our second night. Only downside was the refrigerator in our room was a little noisy at night."
