Hubei Provincial Museum is just one of the attractions in Dong Hu Lake, Wuchang so you might want to stop by during your trip. If you want to experience more of the culture Wuchang has to offer, head to East Lake, Wuhan University, and Central China Normal University.
This is one of the nicest cleanest hotels I’ve ever been. I’ve paid more for less. I would suggest this over a $500+ hotel in Austin or the “nice” hotel I stayed in Shanghai. Xiangyang was a nice city with plenty to do.

The apartment hotel is in upper levels of a modern building that also houses a shopping mall containing numerous eateries. The building is literally directly above a subway station. It was super easy to get to and from Wuhan high speed rail station. The one bed room corner deluxe unit (free upgrade from a lesser unit) we stayed in is very spacious, equipped with a kitchen, dining table and a functioning washer/drier combo plus daily supply of detergent. Air conditioning of the unit worked well....
