I love the property...this is my second time staying there in 6 months and won't be my last. Proposed to my now fiancé during my most recent trip in March of 2022.

Tucked away far from the bustling heart of Puerto Barrios, this charming property offers a serene retreat for those seeking to unwind. While it is an older property, it is impressively well-maintained, with a welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and having a young lady on the team who spoke English fluently was a tremendous help for our limited Spanish skills. The on-site restaurant, Mangoes, was a standout,...

This is truly a unique and amazing place to stay. You are right in the middle of the jungle, with all that entails. The cabanas are small but comfortable, with a nice bathroom. They do have air conditioning as well, which is a must in this area. The onsite restaurant is convenient and reasonable. Most of the staff, including front desk, we encountered over 4 days did not speak English, but we were able to piece together communication. There is a lot of walking to get to the cabins, some of...

The only thing I was unhappy with is that breakfast was not included with the Expedia reservation. However, breakfast, lunch, and dinner are available for purchase at the hotel as it has its own restaurant.

We stayed here because of the hotel's location between Copan and Quirigua. They consider themselves an amusement park. They have a couple of pools and mini golf. We didn't have time for either, but the facilities looked fine.
The hotel was clean and pleasant.
It had enclosed parking.
The desk clerk required that we stay at check out until someone had checked our rooms. This was a bit annoying.
