"The staff was extremely helpful and very kind. It is truly one happy island. We really enjoyed our trip and are planning our next vacation there very soon! "
"The hotel and staff was amazing clean quiet and friendly, thanks to Lisamarie Peter Dre Santos janelca was awesome totally recommend location was perfect did not have to get a taxi but definitely rent a car to go around the island
No tour unless you are pressed for time and rather not drive. Need water shoes as beach seems a bit mossy Eagle beach was beautiful and beaches towards the light house
Restaurant were good and ask about things to do at night as there are lots of different activities "
"I had a nice stay at Barceló Aruba. The inside areas were nice and clean and always air conditioned which I appreciated from the hot Aruba sun. The rooms are clean and spacious and well maintained from the Staff. The entire Staff except the Bartenders at the pool, are extremely friendly and helpful! I felt completely safe at Barceló Aruba also whether it was early in the morning or coming back to my room very late at night. The grand pool was always clean and the beach is steps away from the property. I also enjoyed the souvenir shop (Coconuts) adjacent to the Barceló Aruba. Although you may find less expensive items off the property, I felt the prices for gifts, swimming equipment and suits were very reasonable. I didn’t go i to their Casino so I have no comment about that experience. I did peak at their so-called nightly entertainment and it was a joke at best; I saw an employee sitting on a stool in the middle of a slightly raised dance floor, singing to I think was karaoke. There were a couple if gift shops on site for convenience as well. I only went to one of their “reservation only” restaurants and the food was just okay. I actually found the food at both of their all-inclusive restaurants average at best. Although the food looked delicious is was lacking flavor and tenderness even the fish was dried out or overcooked. The pool was always delightful and clean. Families with children had fun but didn’t distract singles or couples as there was lots of space for everyone!"
"The Divi Dutch Village is a joke. Their website says you have access to 8 Restaurants, 6 Bars, 7 Pools and free daily bottle of wine. On our brochure that we received during check-in, there were 3 restaurants that were circled, along with the coffee bar and 1 other place. All 3 basically have the same food, bland. The drinks were horrible. If you are on the beach, you don't have access to the beach bar as all inclusive, you have to walk back to the pool bar to get a drink. When I asked the staff, they said sorry, the website needs updated. And we never saw a daily bottle of wine. We called for towels one evening and I had to ask the cleaning lady the next day for towels because no one ever came. The only thing positive about the stay was the concierge was very helpful. We actually flew back home a day early because we were so disappointed.
I talked to several guests that had stayed at Divi Dutch before and they were completely disappointed with the changes in the All-Inclusive. "
"Everyone was pleasant and the food and drinks were great. My one major complaint would be the rooms could be updated and the bed mattress was absolutely horrible. It was like sleeping on the floor. "
