"Room was great, staff was very nice, the only thing was the all the faucets ran streaky, like the shower and bathroom sink, and there were also lots of little antsy bugs crawling around, but nothing too bothersome."
"The food and drinks were absolutely AMAZING!!!! The staff definitely makes sure you have nothing to worry about. They handle all of your transportation needs. Everything was stress free. Definitely recommend!"

10/10 Excellent
"What a stay. Although my visit began with a couple of small hiccups…a floor that hadn’t been fully swept and a small puddle from a dripping AC…both issues were quickly resolved. After years of traveling and staying in countless hotels, I’ve learned that little imperfections happen everywhere.
What truly set this place apart was the genuinely warm staff. Zoe at the front desk and Sharnisa in the restaurants were exceptional…warm, intuitive, and attentive. Ache and Michael carried that same spirit, and Davon went above and beyond to arrange an early-morning driver for me. The housekeeping team worked with such care that the rooms felt magically refreshed each day.
The beach experience was beautifully maintained, with water activities readily available and encouraged. On my final day, I joined a fantastic Pilates class with Carri….an absolute gem.
There is a calm, peaceful energy that seems to settle over this hotel and its guests. I returned to the bustle of NYC feeling restored and deeply grateful to the entire Waves family. Until next year."
"I was going to leave a 5 star rating but after my staycation at this hotel I accidentally left my phone charger. I spoke to staff 5 times over a 24 hour period regarding looking to see if the charger was found and every time I called I felt like no one made an effort to look for the charger, I had to give my name and number each time I called as no one would ever call me back with an update. As someone who frequently does staycations with my family throughout the year, this definitely changed my mind from coming back. Just because someone is no longer a guest doesn’t mean you can’t assist them as you don’t know if they will return or recommend others to visit. They are still yet to give me a call back on if the charger was found or not. "
"The room was clean and fully equipped down to ice cubes! Had a lovely partial ocean view and stunning sunsets, and being right in the heart of St. Lawrence Gap dining scene made it so convenient. You’re also walkable to beaches on either side and about a 15min walk away. The staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly from the moment I arrived. Shout out to them, from front desk to the maid staff y’all rock!
I didn’t get to try the hotel restaurant, but the menu looked tempting enough that I wished I had!
Sadly, my only gripe was sand flies in the room, which were noticeably observed more toward the end of my stay. I did note it on checkout and the staff acknowledged it’s a known issue, appreciated the honesty, but hopefully it’s something they can work to address. It’s the one thing that kept this from being a perfect stay.
Overall, a fabulous hotel that I’d happily recommend, just go prepared for the local wildlife!"
