Gdansk City Center
Gdansk City Center is a fairytale come to life, with rainbow-hued merchant houses lining the spectacular Long Market. Gothic spires of St. Mary's Basilica tower above cobblestone streets where amber galleries glisten and the medieval harbor crane stands watch by the Motława River. History buffs will love exploring the maritime museums and cultural institutions showcasing the rich Polish-German-Kashubian heritage. Traditional pierogi houses mix with upscale Baltic seafood restaurants along the walkable historic core. Boutique hotels in converted merchant houses offer period charm with modern comforts. The pedestrian-friendly district connects major sites within minutes, with trams serving the edges and scenic waterfront promenades perfect for evening strolls.

Old Town Gdańsk
Gdańsk's cultural Old Town Gdańsk neighborhood is loved for its museums and bars, and visitors often enjoy its varied attractions including National Museum in Gdansk and National Museum’s Department of Early Art.

Jelitkowo
Jelitkowo's golden Baltic beaches stretch into the horizon, inviting you to dig your toes into the sand and breathe in the salty air. The waterfront promenade connects to Brzezno with stunning sea views, perfect for sunset strolls or morning jogs. When you need a break from the sun, explore the peaceful residential streets lined with pine trees just steps away from the shoreline. Beachside cafés serve up fresh Baltic fish while you watch the waves roll in. Summer brings beach bars and water sports rentals, while winter offers quiet contemplation along the shore. Public trams and buses connect easily to downtown Gdańsk, though you'll find the beach area perfectly walkable with dedicated cycling paths along the coast.

Brzezno
Brzezno beckons with a beautiful Baltic Sea beach promenade and wooden pier perfect for sunset strolls. The neighborhood offers a quiet escape from Gdańsk's bustling center, where you can wiggle your toes in the sand or explore the tree-shaded paths of Reagan Park. When hunger strikes, local seafood spots and ice cream stands along the waterfront provide tasty fuel for your coastal adventures. Public buses connect this peaceful district to central Gdańsk in about 20-30 minutes. Most visitors stay in charming guesthouses or vacation rentals just steps from the shore. The area winds down early in the evenings, creating a perfect retreat for families and travelers seeking a genuine Polish seaside experience.

Oliwa
Oliwa's magnificent 13th-century cathedral steals the spotlight with twin spires and famous baroque organ concerts. The peaceful neighborhood offers a break from Gdańsk's tourist crowds, with French gardens and a Japanese landscape in Oliwa Park. Spot strutting peacocks on the Abbots' Palace grounds or explore the historic Cistercian monastery that whispers medieval tales through stone corridors. Traditional Polish restaurants serve pierogi in cozy settings near the cathedral, while small shops offer local pottery and amber jewelry. The area connects easily to central Gdańsk via 15-minute SKM rail trips, making it perfect for travelers who appreciate cultural heritage without the hustle.

Holiday Inn Gdansk - City Centre by IHG
"WERY good hotel. Down town. Clean. Good lobbý and bar."
Noli Gdansk Old Town
"Exceptionally clean property. My apartment was very modern and appeared brand new. 2 bedrooms, one queen one single, with living room and modern kitchen with dining table. Everything you would need for cooking and eating. The bathroom was nice with washer. The hotel also has a laundromat with dryers if needed. Exceptionally fine property about a 10 minute walk to Old Town center. Try to go to the Baltic philharmonic if you are there for one of their season’s performances. It too is close by. My stay included breakfast which was delivered each morning at 7:30 AM and was very good. I would recommend it since the property has no restaurant. Be advised that this is a self check-in property. Watch for message from the property for your check-in code."
Prize By Radisson, Gdansk
"The hotel is relatively new so it still has lots of clean and fresh vibes about it. The location is fantastic - you can walk to Dluga Street in less than 10 minutes. Air conditioning could be a bit temperamental but having the windows open during the day helped cool the room. We’d recommend taking earplugs just in case - we were on the back of the hotel on the 4th floor and it felt like we were perhaps above a laundry room with the noise, just depends where you get because we also stayed here in June but had a room at the front of the hotel which looked directly on to the school with no noise. Brilliantly located for the start of the S1 train that takes you to Oliwa (park and zoo), Sopot beaches and Gydnia."
B&B HOTEL Gdańsk Old Town
"Really impressed by hotel and service. The location was excellent, the staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good, wide selection of fresh food, to the extent that the bread was still warm. No fried eggs but that was probably a good thing for me, meant I ate more fruit. I certainly would look to stay at a B&B Hotel again and as we liked Gdansk so much and we want to return, this would be my first choice of hotel."
PURO Gdańsk Stare Miasto
"The lounge areas are fantastic and the staff were very helful regarding requests"
Radisson Hotel & Apartments Gdansk
"Excellent location ideal for that city break. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Pool good and staff helpful."
Apart Neptun
"I loved this hotel, the hourly tolling of bells was an added plus. I was concerned because I only found two glasses and we had three people staying, but I just hadn't looked in the cabinet above something, a little high for me to reach. We also had to walk a bit to catch an Uber, but I loved the area and loved walking through it so it was a minor problem."
